Russia, they tons of billionaires willing to put up silly money. Chances of ward agreeing to that. 0%
LOL Kov only fought 3 times in Russia as a pro. He's had 29 fights in the US. Can you guess which country he likes fighting in? The US is where it's at! In fact, Kov lives in America.
You're acting like the US is the only place judges make bad or corrupt decisions. Sure a lot of fight decisions are questionable here in the US but, the majority of big fights are held here also. I don't know but, I'm willing to say that the US is on par with the rest of the world when it comes to bad decisions or corruption. If you look at the percentage of fights against bad decisions, I say the US isn't any worse than Germany, Russia, Canada or England. I could be wrong, because I haven't researched it.
Currently the usa is by far the worst when germany was the worst i called them on jt too. I wouldnt bring russia into this a guy who comes from a country currently at war with russia just got treated brilliantly by the russian. If that was in America at least one judge would have had it a draw lol see loma vs russell
Bot o boy, I can't argue the point you made about Russia. You got me on the America/Russia comment. SMH and we still have China and North Korea to deal with. I think I might hang my hat in Fiji before it's all said and done. LOL
He did retaliate. After getting rocked by a right hand to the head he was done and looking for a way out
I think we just need to call out crappy corruption when it happens and not cheerleading or ignore it when it benefits fighters you like. In 20 years time maybe the money will bbe in china and all the big fights will be there. If all americans go there and get robbed week in week out you and any other americans will cry bloody murder. And do you know what I'll be on your side. But there will be plenty on here who will laugh their asses off and get a great kick from it and feel its only been deserved
I get what you're saying. As far as the Ward/Kovalev fights are concerned, I don't think it applies. I did have Kov winning the first fight but, did not think it was a robbery that Ward got the nod. It was a close fight, it was an ugly fight for sure. The second fight was a bit different. People are going to see what they want. In that fight I saw 2 irrefutable low blows and niether was in the last round and niether played a part in Kov's demise. That final blow was close and the ref should have given Kov the count because the ropes were holding him up. That is an argument for corruption if you want to go there. The counter argument is, Kov was rocked by a legit right hand after turning his back to Ward when a legit body shot landed. Kov was hurt and somewhat defenseless. He definitely was not fighting his fight. The thing that sucks is, I like both Ward and Kov. Just wish there was a clear victory.
when white got dirty last night everyone was like he is turning on the ward style Id say that what will happen when someone headbutts or ball punches someone in the future ' he must have studied andre ward in the run up to this fight'
blaming someone for fighting mainly in america would be the same as someone fighting mainly in europe eg povetkin. its meaningless due to their size.
