Didn't want to see that self proclaimed "Legend Killer" title change hands so soon?

People say Jones is more money for Calzaghe, but I wonder. If Jones brings a bigger gate/PPV then won't he be wanting a bigger percentage of the purse? I'd have to think right now Kelly would get a much smaller percentage.

Also, if Joe fights RJJ next, he will vacate the belts by not defending them. Won't this hurt Joe's negotiating position in a fight at 168?

Personally I feel Joe Calzaghe boxing circles around the one-two a more likely scenerio.

Right. It was already decided as they studied the film for the Lockett fight, that is why Joe didn't even make the trip.

I am a Pavlik fan,I like him.he's a decent fighter although I don't see him being a great one,and I don't see him being champ for long. Lockett froze on the night,he's allso a lightmiddleweight really.

Makes sense to me...after that fight, the only thing I heard come from the Calzaghe camp was that BS "I don't think Pavlik REALLY wants to fight me" , even though he basically said he would infront of his fans after the Lockett fight. Where was Enzo? On the way to the hospital with his fighter who was demolished. Kelly was hitting him on the forehead and soon enough would've broke his skull if not just given him a Rahman.

    So let me clarify.

You ACTUALLY believe Enzo turned around to Joe Calzaghe and told him to stay away from Kelly Pavlik?

You have no idea whether he was offered anything. The only article you can find doesn't say what you say it says though.

You have no idea what he will take.

    I conclude that you're a lying troll.

The article from the mirror was one of MANY articles. The 10 million was clearly on the table, but slappy joe wants no part of Pavlik. He has the audacity to claim Pavlik isn't ready to fight at his level. Pavlik isn't ready, but Manfredo was???? Your boy is chicken****, and that is obvious.

If it was clearly on the table then it shouldn't be too hard for you to cite a reputable source confirming it.

Why did you instead choose a cite from a tabloid rag that contains vague references to Warren and Arum being 'in discussions' about a 'ten million pound fight' (no details where, when, who would put up the money) and basically contradicts your assertion that an offer was on the table (says talk of a date and venue being decided is premature)?

You can't produce a solid cite because you have not got the faintest idea whether an offer was made or not, but prefer to troll, lie and bull**** rather than engage in intelligent conversation.

Not really. Lockett's been about as classy as could be towards Kelly after the fight.

He was frozen by a constant assault of right hands.

    Lockett is hardly bitter.

Even before June 7th I'm sure he still felt Calzaghe would beat him.
