He only went to light heavy cause Joe C was waiting for him, he thought he could take him at 175...How wrong he was..Its not a duck either when your talking Gennady Golovkin, man don't do ducks

He's one of the worst duckers in the sport. Outright refused to face Ward , fought Vanes instead of Sergiy D and wants to fight the remains of James DeGale instead of big Charlo who is his mandatory.

This. 168 is a no mans land like cruiserweight. If GGG were to move up the only division he could make money in is at 175, but at his age I think he'd be better of staying at 160 and retiring.

He's been visibly slipping for a few years and fully agree although not in regards to the cruiserweight division which imo is one of the better divisions.

By Golovkin standards I'm afraid it is.

Also I didn't think the fight was close, clear win for GGG.

GGG shouldn’t face the older Charlo at this stage I think he gets battered. Fight Canelo try to grab a title at 168 and retire a HOFmer

At his age and stage of career the only thing that makes sense is maximizing profits and taking the biggest money fights until he calls it a career. If he noticeably declined since his last fight I can total ride with him taking the highest paying soft touch to close out his career.

He's been fighting his whole life pretty much, and for most of that time against the best amateur and professional competition in the world. Champs like him don't get to where they are at by ducking challenges, they usually relish the biggest challenges and overcoming the biggest obstacles. That goes for any world champions in any weight class as proven and distinguished as him, or on the path to being.

Carl Froch fought the much better George Groves at the same stage , got battered for the majority of the first fight , then took the rematch in which he ended Groves in impressive fashion at age 37. A year older than Golovkin is now

I guess your correct in assuming that Golovkin isn't at the level of a Carl Froch.

One would assume Froch and GGG are fairly similar though the Corbra seems to acclimate himself and make adjustments more fluidity. Then again GGG hasn’t really found the need to adjust although his fights versus Jacobs/Canelo/Brook showed a bit of stubbornness and deterimential predictability that, at this stage in his career, would hurt his chances versus the bigger more composed striker in Jermel Charlo.
