Here’s the reality.... all the talk of him dominating at HW needs to stop immediately.

Cruiserweight has been a desolate waste land of a division pretty much forever. If usyk was really good as everyone claims he would have been fighting at HW already in an attempts to get a big payday from wilder/joshua/fury/Parker/etc.

He just unified CW and is pushing for a tony bellew fight. Let him be great and do what he’s doing but the hype is totally unnecessary. Let usyk take his time, the more you idiots say he’d easily dominate at hw the more people will want to see his face bashed in by someone who actually has the power to do so.

what the cruiserweight division was in previous years is irrelevant, atm it is one of the best divisions in boxing. and 1 by 1 the champions have fallen, and Usyk is the last man standing. are some of his plaudits hyperbole? probably, but it's not completely unjustified.

 

Imagine how a prime Roy Jones Jr would look if you put Arthur Abraham in front of him.

 

Cw always sucks..... it sucks now but people were excited about the tournament.

Most guys usually just go down or move up because there’s rarely ever money in the division.

 

i disagree but i suppose we all have different perceptions at the end of the day. he's only 15 fights in and just earned £7m in his last fight, can you blame him for not going to HW quicker?

 

Why would people start hating him for fans going berserk? That would mean that every topclass boxer would be hated with fury by everyone just because they all have rabid fans. Come up with a single one that didn't have over the top fans, some even had their own names, like floyd and pac fans.

I think it's ridiculous to start hating a elite boxer for that, because then you can never support a single one.

 

People are creaming themselves over this division, only because the top few all fought each other which is how it should be. The truth is apart from usyk and breidis the rest aren't that flash, it's a poor division compared to other weight classes.

Cruiserweight is THE best, most stacked, most exciting division in Boxing. Most unbiased fans will agree with this, and the rest would certainly put it in the top 3 most strongest. Go look up polls of what the strongest division is! You make yourself look stupid with a clear agenda ..lying trying to claim it's weak lol

 

It’s probably middle of the pack, Dorticos/Gassiev/Bredis don’t have very strong resumes and they are the top of the division. It’s all relative, there’s no need for an agenda its basic logic. I don’t want to spoil your prideful rant or poke holes in your skewed perspective so enjoy your personal version of inductive reasoning supporting your labeling of today’s CW division.
