I take his words with a grain a salt but it clearly means more than you keyboard warrior as he’s been in the ring. When you have a professional fight at heavyweight you let me know! Cause the Cubans words mean more than yours /shrug
Wilder wasn't getting outboxed by Washington or Szpilka. Neither could hurt him, so Wilder only focused on landing 1 big shot, which he easily did. Molina can punch and has pretty quick hands when he's motivated enough. He landed a couple of good shots on Wilder, but then started getting countered to pieces by Wilder and was stopped as soon as Wilder turned it up. Duhaupas When he's in good shape has good power and is very durable. Even after the beating he received from Wilder he was able to knockout Helenius, who Whyte couldn't put a dent in. He also had a great game plan. He crowded Wilder and didn't give Wilder room to setup his powershots, but still took a terrible beating from Wilder. Also, in the Wilder fight Duhaupas was in excellent shape at 236 lbs. Against Povetkin Duhaupas was well over 250 lbs with one days notice and against Miller he was also in very poor shape. Scott is very fleet footed and has some of the best footwork in boxing and is a skilled boxer, but doesn't seem to be all there mentally. Scott kept trying to throw the fight, but the referee forced Scott to earn his check, so Scott started timing Ortiz and firing right hands over Ortiz's straight lefts and even managed to rock Ortiz and he also did expose that Ortiz fades in the later rounds. That said Ortiz still easily won, but couldn't get the knockout on Scott, who went into full survival mode. Even PAC couldn't knockout in a shot Shane Mosley, who got on his bicycle and wouldn't engage. Allen despite being a novice used good headmovement and kept his knees bent, which was making it hard for Ortiz to land cleanly on him. That said Ortiz was clearly pulling his punches agaibst Allen and did just enough for the stoppage, since Allen had no answer for Ortiz's uppercut, but once he rocked Allen he stopped using the uppercut out of mercy while he didn't show Jennings the same mercy.
It's usually the case to say the guy who beats you beats the guy that hasn't beat you. But then quite a few people are picking deontay. More seem to be going Joshua but neither can legitimately say the other side has no chance.
have you hopped over to the island of Cuba now to find a hope cause Puerto Rican can't produce any top fighters any more - all the current fighters are bums lmao Joshua would murder Ortiz
Joshua boxes the ears of Wilder before flattening him. Neither Joshua or his trainer Rob McCracken buy into Wilders bull****.
Someone who actually knows what they are talking about whilst able to objectively assess fighters without lazily declaring every single one a bum because they're not a star name. A rarity in a ignorant place such as this forum.
Yeah that's why McCracken told Joshua that he's not ready for Wilder. If Wilder was easy pickings the fight between them would happen in a heart beat. We know you don't believe in half the garbage you post. You're a matchroom prostitute.
Honestly Povetkin>Ortiz so those fanboi's really need to come up with something better about AJ ducking Ortiz.. Povetkin is just as good a boxer has more power and won't gas like Ortiz did, not to mention his iron chin that a flush right hand from Price wouldn't crack from. There is a reason why Wilder made up that fake drug charge and ran back home before any decision was made instead of manning up and fighting Povetkin. Ortiz couldn't get Allen out of the ring (British Stoppage) and has no idea how to chase down fighters hence the stinker of an effort against Scott and hasn't had a real fight since Jennings who thought he could go toe to toe with Ortiz playing into his hands.. I do hope Povetkin gets all the belts and makes that scared little girl get his ass to Russia and take his beating like a man (which he should have done last time instead of making up lies to get out of it)..
Are you challenged? Aj was mandated to fight Ortiz years ago. Instead he screwed him over so he could fight Pulev. The same Eurobot who went 12 rounds with a shot Chisora. Hearn knew Ortiz was more than capable of ending his carefully marketed product. The Aj brand would have been over before it could really kick off if he didn't do everything possible to duck Ortiz.
lol "never let the truth get in the road of a good story", that would be a perfect motto for the end of all your posts.. Ortiz could have got in the que to book a ticket on the money train but he though he would get an upgrade by going the WBC option first.. Unfortunately for him he didn't realise that he wasn't getting the win no matter what happened and in the end his age and lack of meaningful fights mean't he failed... Problem with Wilder nuthuggers like yourself is you forget they are all really in this for the money and AJ is going to take fight which give him the best money for the least chance of a loss, Ortiz doesn't offer much money and his aura was a risk.. Now look at your boi, he has fought 39 bums (yes Stiverne is a bum ffs), and has only challenged himself once plus it was a low act what he did to Povetkin who would have been a career defining win but he chickened out... Your boi only took Ortiz because of the groundswell of ridicule and his arrogance because he want to be the 'A' side against AJ... Like I said before best case scenario is Povetkin KO's AJ and makes that scared little girl have to fight in Russia and in all honestly Wilder would get a fairer deal in Russia than Povetkin would get in Vegas...
Jesus Wept..... Do you know what 'ordered' means? Do you know what 'mandatory' means? Do you know what 'coward' means? Do you know what it means when you are told that you are ''intellectually disabled''? Joshua ordered to defend WBA title against Ortiz ''Both parties (Joshua and Ortiz) were duly notified that, as of August 3rd, they have 30 days to reach an agreement or the fight will be called to purse bids,” the WBA said in a statement.''the WBA said in a statement. The facts are he was mandatory and ordered to fight Joshua by the WBA, just like Joshua was ordered to fight Povetkin who he was happy to oblige since it meant he could avoid Wilder yet again. The only difference is he was far too dangerous for your boy. Ortiz would most likely have sent Joshua to sleep. If Price, Okolie and that 19 year old teenager Dubios can send Joshua to sleep with headgear on, just imagine what Ortiz and Wilder would have done to him? Do you really think McCracken doesn't pass on info to Eddie on how often he sees Joshua getting sparked flat out on his muscle bound back in sparring? They have no choice but to selectively avoid, manipulate and duck threats in order make the right fights for AJ. They have to make sure the opponent is either old, stiff, stumpy, lacking power, short, chubby or ideally all of the above. They have to milk their brand and get fools buying into the nonsense that he's the best heavyweight ever. When In reality he's most definitely 4th maybe 3rd best in the division. A healthy Fury beats him. Ortiz beats him, and Wilder packs him up in a body bag with his name on it If you want to go down the route of discussing past opponents, let us see how many grandad's has Joshua got on his record now? Klitschko - 40 and 2 years without fighting Takum - Didn't even train properly for the fight Povetkin - past prime, 40 years old, short and hasn't beaten an opponent whilst clean Kevin Johnson - An Ancient Relic that got bulldozed back into the ground that it was dug out from. Complete and utter mismatches involving certified bums which were billed on ppv for premium price for mugs, drunks, and football louts to watch Martin Wilder's left over Molina Cornish Best Wins Parker An injured Whyte who nearly knocked him out
Wilder does have the power to put AJ to sleep but AJ also possesses enough skill to outbox Wilder for 12 rounds and enough power to finish Wilder before he gets a chance to land that big right. 60/40 AJ. Ortiz is cut up because he had Wilder rocked but couldn't finish the job.
Outside of the fact Leonard hadn’t fought Manfredo, was long since retired, and Manfredo having lost multiple bouts and having minimal power, and Calzaghe being nothing like AJ, you almost make a point… This was, IMO, your most acurate statement, albeit out of context; “”
