Was thinking this. Guessing unless they have a huge fight we cannot think of to replace the main event..... it will be moved elsewhere

Isn't it pretty standard that the away fighters TV network always gets first option.

Expecting the fight to be on BT Sport.

 

Has it actually been confirmed that it’s on Sky and not BT?

I would have thought Frank would have insisted on BT for the UK as part of the deal.

My thoughts exactly. Surely Frank would’ve only agreed to a deal if it were on BT, but then again on an FB group I’ve been told it’s on Sky.

I don’t think Hearn would mind putting it on Dazn In US and giving in to BT in UK. Purely because Andrade is not a name to the UK matchroom fans but is big in the US where he’s just pushed the new brand. Also as big as BJS is if you mentioned him to a typical UK matchroom fan I doubt he/she could tell you who/how he won his belt etc

If BJS is Dingle gym fit for this (which he will be) he wins on points, albeit far closer margin than monroe jr and Lemieux

Makes sense that it's on Sky. Sky would have a contract which gives them the rights to DAZN shows as Hearn said back when his matchroom/DAZN deal was announced.

There is no way that agreement could be just ignored for certain fights.

Thing is this is a good thing. Saunders is clearly getting well paid and no promoter should stand in the way of that. O'Hara Davies fighting on C5 vs Taylor was clearly good for Ohara financially.

PPV is different but things like this in essence are good if the fighter is getting a great deal.
