Whyte actually has a nasty style for a technically superb guy like Usyk, sort of like a HW Salido.

However, that being said I don't think either would even catch Usyk, they were both puffed by round 6 and when Parker was moving it wasn't too hard to evade Whyte even before that.

No he doesn't. You've just made an illogical argument that didn't address the post.

Boxing is corrupt and Britain and the US are the capitals of the corruption. Don't get me wrong, it happens everywhere but not as blatantly.

Parker didn't put in a great performance. Chalk it down to the headbutt, lack of training, or a backroom deal with the money men, but that referee was on the take and so were the judges, not to mention the bias commentary.

Had a feeling at one point that he was going to No Mas in there. He just didn't look interested at times.

With a repaired shoulder I think it’s fair to say that Whyte has more power than Joshua now. Chisora too.

Usyk with his soft little tippy tap punches is going to be walked down in a couple of rounds by the big boys in the division.

I can't believe Parker didn't win this. Not in terms of scoring but I'm terms of ability of the two men.

Parker is a much better athlete and a much better technician, but he looked scared every time Whyte closed the distance.

The amount of times he backed up from a jab and a body shot and a winging right haymaker was ridiculous.

He showed his heart getting up from that monster left and for the final stanza but I can't help but feel he let this fight get away from him.

I think Whyte wanted it more and it showed tonight.

Yeah he looked like he wanted a way out but he does have heart, even though he ain’t prepared to put everything on the line he won’t quit either and I have to give Parker credit for the fact he hung in there.

I agree with your sentiment, although I wouldn't even say that the UK / US are the worst; China, Germany and South Africa are all as bad or even worse lol. It's just that most major fights happen in the US or the UK.

Japan, for my money, is still the fairest place to go.

lol The thing is Bellew knows Usyk will come to the UK for that fight. Someone needs to get on Twitter to Egis Klimas and tell him to instruct Usyk to bring Bellew to the Ukraine, same goes if that creep from Oakland calls out Usyk when he's finished bulking his body up to CW size with all those roids he's been jacking himself silly with since he announced his fake retirement.

It was a great event, last match was great as well, but left bitter taste with that b.c. from the referee.
He was helping Whyte all night long.
Whyte should have been taken a point away in the early rounds for hitting hard in the back of the hand and for brawling by holding and hitting. A lot of people not realize this caused Parker to gased. He gased after the insane headbutt he get, also Dillan hit him with the shoulder in the next moment and the shot was even harder.
He gased after that exactly round and it was obvious due to the illegal shots by Whyte.
    Parker probably has concussion.
And let see the scorecards if the false KD was not given:
    Round 1 - clearly Parker 10-9
Round 2 - untill the time of illegal shots, it was all Parker round, so cleary Parker 20 - 18
    Round 3 - Whyte 29-28
    Round 4 - Whyte 38-38
    Round 5 - Parker 48 - 47
    Round 6 - WHyte 57 - 57
    Round 7 - Whyte 66 - 67
    Round 8 - WHyte 75 - 77
    Round 9 - WHyte 83 - 87 That round is 8-10 for Whyte
    Round 10 - Parker 93 - 96
    Round 11 - Parker 103 - 105
    Round 12 - Parker 113 - 113 That round is 10-8 for Parker

I dont see how you can score the fight different, unless you are highly biased.

Round 4 and 5 was close, so i give 1 of the round to Parker, the other to Whyte.
Round 10, 11, 12 was clearly for Parker.

And lets not forget that the headbutt and should shot change it all the fight. This fight should be rewatched and made rematch asap.

If someone have the time, made 1 thread with a poll so all can type how they see the fight and their scorecard.

How can the same people who had Parker beating Fury have Parker beating Whyte?

He was on the backfoot after the clash of heads, until the 12th round.

    Outjabbed, Outworked and Outmanned.....

When the going got tough, Parker went running.
