Why Ian John Lewis still works at high-profile fights?

    He's terrible ref TBH.

He's made so many mistakes throughout his career.

His worst referee's preformance was Vitali vs Briggs, which he should've stopped at 7th or 8th the latest. Instead, he let Vitali beat all the health out of poor Shannon who spent few weeks in hospital.

He allowed Whyte to fight very dirty against Parker and Taylor against Postol, so he's clearly a biased referee for home fighters. He doesn't take points off of home fighters.

While he never stopped Vitali-Briggs beatdown, he has his fair share of Brittish stoppages when the fighters weren't even remotedly as hurt as Briggs but still were stopped.

Yeah I agree but I think Howard Foster is worse. British referees are bang average in my opinion.

The ref against Joshua was too strict.....
The ref against Whyte wasn't strict enough.....

The truth is, Parker is a touch soft.

I agree about Parker, but the thread is about IJ Lewis who doesn't show he's competent enough to referee high-profile fights.

All that and you failed to mention the Enzo stoppage. That was laughably bad.
