Forget Loma, Jorge Linares beats Mikey Garcia

    We keep hyping this man up here as the next great Mexican American fighter. When clearly he is not. He's 30 years old now and his best win is Robert Easter. People put him p4p top 5 before he even beat Easter which is a joke. Robert Easter is a run of the mill alphabet titleholder. A guy who wouldn't ever dream of ever being the man in any weight class. This was his step up in class and he looked flat. A great fighter should look flat against a great fighter, not Robert ****ing Easter.

    People keep saying Loma Garcia is this great match to be made like it's on the same level as a Kovalev Ward or a Spence Crawford match. That's BS, it's not, because only Loma is on that level.

    I'm telling you Linares would beat this guy. It's either Linares UD or maybe Garcia TKO if Linares' paper skin lets him down again.

    Completely pointless to talk about. Mikey is going to be damaged goods after he fights Spence. He's an elite level talent that is about to be relegated to contender status after Spence takes his soul.

    Mikey would knockout Linares without a doubt.. Linares skin will fail him as always when facing very good fighters..

    Mikey would absolutely destroy Linares in such mismatch one sided form it's not worth discussing. This shows your lack of the fight games.

    I wouldn't doubt it in the least. Loma destroys Mikey with relative ease.

    Linares' speed and sublime skills will cause Mikey a lot of problems. Garcia's power would probably tell in the end but Linares has stupidly fast hands, wonderful skills and athleticism, beautiful offensive and he's very adept at slipping, blocking, and parrying shots, and he's a fine counter puncher too.

    This, most probably. Linares without his "paper-thin" skin (which also interferes with his performances mentally, because he knows it is weak) would be a monster.

    lol @ this thread.

    Mikey stops Linares faster than Loma did and makes it look easier. Mikey vs Loma is a different story.

    I’d pick Linares as well. Garcia is obviously basic, skill wise and physically.

    Garcia is levels above Demarco, Thompson and Salgado(all of whom stopped Linares) so there really is no reason to
    believe he doesn't better their performances vs Linares.
