We have to balance the over hype somehow....
    It's like yin and yang.

Maybe it he still would have got knocked out, however you can't ignore that was a pivotal moment in the fight in which Whyte's shoulder betrayed him, right as he landed and buzzed him.

Of course in a rematch Joshua destroys him in a more routine fashion.

My point is that Whyte isn't that great of a win especially when he was only just beginning his pro career, out of shape and coming in the fight with a injury.

Its a shame Deontay hasnt got the balls to fight any of these guys then we can all go comparing resumes and just tell the Boxers to hang up their gloves and retire cuz we will work it all out on paper. But Deontay Ducking Wilder has let the side down by having an absolutly useless and irrelevent resume.

Ortiz is better than every single opponent on Jenner's resume bar Wlad so that puts your theory about useless and irrelevant resume to bed.

Lets not even forget AJ has one of Wilder's old opponents on his resume as well.

C'mon guys, Povetkin stands 0 chance vs Joshua. Joshua is Klitschko level or approaching it. And we know what klitschko did to Povetkin.

Joshua beat Takam on a weeks notice , with a broken nose and weighting heaviest of his career @255lbs.

He went in there with no gameplan , no preparation and had no timing for a short mover , yet he still won every round.

A weeks notice is different to only having a 2 week training camp.

Jenner had a full camp, the difference is he was preparing to fight Pulev.

Takam barely trained. He was cycling enjoying time off from the sport prior to getting shifted in for the fight 2 weeks earlier, and is 37 years old for goodness sake.

Before the fight I was expecting AJ to blast him out of there within 3-4 rounds. I even posted on here at the time noting that I felt sorry for Takam thinking he was going to get punished, because I actually believed back then that Jenner was a huge clinical puncher

This. I'm not terribly impressed with Joshua, but I'm even less impressed with Wilder. If they are the best there is right now, this era is sad. Even a guy that I don't particularly like, like Holmes, would turn them inside out.

This whole two weeks notice thing is nonsense... Yes, takem took the fight at short notice but he was in a training camp for months for the fight. He was told he was a backup when the fight was first arranged with Pulev as their was doubts about his fitness!

So Takem was ready for the fight when called upon.... but dont let all that get in the way of your agenda!!!

False. I know you always lie to get ahead in an argument , but you should really cut that out.

Everybody knows that Takam was on stand by and in training to fight AJ. Hearn had to hire him as a stand-in cos he knew there was a high chance Pulev would pull out.

Wasnt Takkam training to fight somebody himself at or around the same time? And Hearn had spoken to Takam to say be ready to take this Joshua fight if Pulev pulls out because they know Pulev has a habit of doing that. Takam said he knew and was ready.

And if you believed back then (2 fights ago) that Joshua was a huge clinical puncher and now your stating its vastly overatted what have you been watching? You just sound like another sucker who dont watch the fight just listens to hype.
