Special mention to Big Pricey. Not the best but probably the most entertaining.

I feel a bit bad for Price and Chisora to a degree.

Its a tough HW scene in the UK and both have been thrown in deep at times

Haye was crap, the version of hate Bellew beat would lose to all the top 10 HWs

Povetkin is gunna get koed into retirement by Aj and Ortiz would ko Hughie and beat all the fighters you named that isn’t Joshua right now

Tony Dosh not looking that great now after his previous 2 performances against fighters pumped last night by 2 average puddings from London

Beating a shot to **** Haye in impressive fashion doesn’t make you a good heavyweight...the man has rods in his spine let alone every other injury...

Yet haye was still a factor and world rated. Easy to talk after the event but haye was favourite on both occasions

Took me a while for AJ to win me over but like it or not he is the best heavyweight in the world. He is not a poor boxer at all, believe me I have been proper negative on him in the past and criticised what I felt were his weaker attributes. He has a really good hurtful jab that even when it hits gloves, it hurts his opponent. His straight right is concussive and no fighter in the heavyweight division can land an uppercut as powerful as him. He lacks mobility and moves in straight lines and he does like to set himself before throwing a shot so he doesn’t throw anything that’s unorthodox/from an awkward angle. These deficiencies are offset by the fact he’s a huge man at 6”6, as a result he’s very difficult to land sweet on because one step back and he’s completely out of range. He’s deceptively fast too, so one step forward and he’s throwing 2-3 shots then steps back out.

He doesn’t float like a butterfly but he doesn’t have to, either.

And ‘all’ Tyson do was UD a shot Klitschko? It’s funny but nobody was saying that before the fight. This was an active, unbeaten for a decade, ATG champion. It was a beautiful, ugly win that unlocked the division.

AJ is a poor man’s Wlad and yes I said before the fury fight wlad was shot and he was the underdog . Wlad was shot with jennings too.

I would say at the moment, he’s not at the level that Klitschko set at his peak but he’s improving with every fight, and over the next few years he’ll surpass Klitschko’s achievements. Arguably, I would say that Klitschko only really evolved into the fighter he became, 40 odd fights in when Brewster sparked him and he made adjustments. Joshua has had 21 fights....let that sink in...21 fights.

Joshua is a poor boxer, he will never reach wlad’s skill level he is flatfooted, robotic I don’t think you can fix that. Wlad had much better jab, better right hand and much better footwork. Wlad was just better boxer with more one punch power. Juiceshua always needed help, he clearly lost his first fight in olympics and then lost a few more and then got that gold as a gift. He got it because it was in London, british hometown cooking that’s what happened. Wlad won his gold in US without any help.
Joshua is more like frank bruno , not wlad.
Well he went life and death with 41yo wlad lol.

Ah, I thought I was debating with someone who could be objective, my mistake. You clearly don’t like the lad. You ignored the points in my post about Klitschko being 40 odd fights in before Steward made him to the fighter that you’re referring to. Joshua has had 21 fights...you’re judging a fighter who is quite possibly only a third of the way into his career against an ATG and calling him a poor man’s Wlad.

I’m not even a AJ fan, i’m a boxing fan. Thank you for reminding me on why I never post on the general section.

Wlad was great but I'll tell you this. AJ will never lose to the kinda fighters Wlad lost against
