Although he still misses wildly and has a questionable gastank. Parker could not deal with dillians strength at all, parker was gassing round 5, he came back well towards the end but it wasnt enough, he lost many rounds and kept ducking into whytes uppercuts and couldnt avoid that sickening left hook to the body. why did he keep dropping to the ropes, he was physically outmatched everytime they grappled, when parker hurt whyte he didnt have the strength to muscle whyte off him and finish the job. Whyte got in a groove from round 3-8 where he was outboxing parker with decent body movement and a nice prodding jab, parker has quite alot of flaws, he doesnt know what to do inside and thinks falling in is a good defence against an uppercut. Whyte has alot of heart and will, he is still a KO waiting to happen he will get a few more title shots before he retires, but Parker although as tough as old boots hasnt got game changing power, fights in spurts then runs, he did better when he pushed whyte back, and also he is very predictable, jab and 1 big right hand over the top and occasional left hook, why doesnt he straighten that right hand throw the middle, like when he rocked whyte in the 3rd and thereafter it was the straight right down the pipe, not plucked from his backside. Parker needs a new gameplan since hes come to the northern hemisphere he hasnt looked so good. But it was a good fight a very good fight. And im excited for whats next for them both.

No he gets sparked again, Joshua would do even quicker next time round. Wilder would also KO him clean.

I don’t get why people don’t want Ortiz vs Whyte. I mean I take nothing away from whites victory but I want him to try that bullying **** with someone who’s willing to fight back

Parker had a gas tank like a 71 yr old yesterday. I don't know why, something wasn't right there. He looked completly done after 5-6 rounds.

Whyte was doing exactly what you can expect from him: Using his dirty tactics and physical strength to bully the opponent at home, not a single point deducted for his dirty **** is a joke tbh. Parker looked like **** in the mid rounds, was doing better at the beginning and at the end but Whyte was done after 10 rounds, couldn't barely move and was missing nearly everything he threw. 40-60 seconds later he would have been knocked out badly but the bell and the ref saved him.

Team whyte got their camp right believe parkers didn't. 7 weeks camp for both, Parker went for the usual get the weight off and aim for speed seems 7 weeks wasn't long enough, whyte knew he couldn't in that time and went for power and strength added a lot more muscle was around 19srone on fight night that's big. People can talk about gas tanks all they want but was a very good pace for a heavyweight fight.

Good fight be interesting were both go next.

    Body punishment.

Nobody ever seems to put in the bodywork and wait for it to pay dividends. Guys like Wilder and Joshua are headhunters, & do not test a guy's ability to absorb body punishment. Whyte does.

Parker is much better stylewise against the headhunters.

But right now, his management team has a rebuilding project on their hands now. They might be looking at 2 years for another opportunity to be in a big meaningful fight. The type that can put him back into title contention. So it isn't just Parker that needs to show improvement, his corner and management team actually need to improve quite a bit themselves. And Joseph just took one heckuva paycut for his next 3 or 4 bouts, didn't he?

hes better than i thought too, but his balance and chin are gonna make for some hilarious comedy chicken dance moments lol

Joshua, Povetkin, Fury, Wilder, Usyk, Hrgovic would make him do the brixton bugaloo!

You were calling Whyte 'Joshua's bodyguard' the other day.....

Now you're using Ortiz as Wilder's bodyguard.

Can't we finally see Wilder face an opponent, in Whyte, who has beaten a World level opponent?

    Usyk?

He's a small man who has feather duster hands.

He would tap tap tap whyte all night long though

Ortiz is old, I believe he is past it, his day has come and gone, his best win/performance was against Bryant Jennings nearly three years ago.

Since Jennings, Ortiz beat ancient and shot to pieces Thompson, struggled badly against Malik Scott, was dragged rounds by Dave Allen (Allen was not dropped) and then was knocked out by Wilder.

I don't see the fuss, even if Whyte beat Ortiz then we'd get "Wilder already knocked him out", it's a pointless fight unless there is something big on the line, like big money, a title or something like a 100% guarantee of a World title fight.

If Wilder signed something guaranteeing the winner a fight then fine, do it, but if not then it's not a very big fight for Whyte.

Personally I want to see Whyte in with AJ, April 2019, assuming AJ gets past Povetkin because I still believe Povetkin is a very dangerous fight for AJ.

Let's just keep it all in the UK, huge PPV numbers, huge live gates, huge world wide exposure, just huge events and it's all good for UK boxing if AJ and Whyte both stay unbeaten (talk of Whyte fighting before the end of the year) and fight early next year.

Well if wilder knocks out Breazele people have already been saying Joshua beat him first. No matter how we slice and dice it Ortiz is more of a threat than Browne and Parker there’s a reason AJ ducked him and Whyte chose other options over him. They say power is the last thing to go. He clearly has the skills it’s just Wilders power is unreal. He’s been ducked by lots of guysoutaide of matchroom as well
