I like Buatsi's style of fighting, quite a smooth boxer with good combinations and punch placement. However, I feel in the exchanges he does get hit quite a bit, it would be interesting to see how he handles Yarde's power. I feel Buatsi is more technically correct, however he does leave openings. I'm not sure why people view this as an easy fight for Buatsi.

Yarde is easy to land on.

if Sjekloca can land like that when Yarde is on the ropes pretending he can effectively shoulder roll, i wouldn't fancy his chances against Buatsi

I agree, but the people who make out it's an easy fight for Buatsi are wrong imo.

Easy maybe not but I think Buatsi is levels above Yarde. Buatsi has a far higher ceiling and just looks the part.

Yarde just looks like a guy who can punch.

Skill wise Buatsi is levels and levels above Yarde. It’s not an easy fight though, it’s never an easy fight when someone packs power. Take your eye off the ball for one second and you’re out.

I’d make Buatsi 4/6 favourite with Yarde 11/10. I think the sooner the better for Yarde because once Buatsi has caught up with the experience that gap widens.

Don't see it being made, but hope it does. Everything suggests Buatsi should win here but I'm dead intrigued by it

Everytime Buatsi fights we’re going to get this irrational nonsense I guess. People disregard it was an absolute bum he fought (whilst Buglioni was available and also fought on the card and Eddie tried to cover his arse after Summers pulled out by claiming he was doing a deal with a good euro/former Kovalev opponent) who everybody was critising, slick Eddie throws out his BS about wanting Yarde and all of a sudden, Yarde/Frank are ducking and Buatsi is going to easily walk though him.

I’ve got to hand it to fast Eddie, he really is the salesman/BS merchant supreme.

Buatsi - Yarde would be a great event, there are several things we don’t know about both yet. Such as does Buatsi have a solid chin/punch resistance because he would need it against a power puncher, who can actually co-ordinate attacks with calm poise like Yarde.

What’s Yarde’s stamina like, can he cope after 7 or 8 rounds against a skilled, former Olympian like Buatsi.

It’s a great fight, but it won’t hapen yet as it’s not time for either.

    Glass chin and poor stamina.

He isn’t even prepared to face anyone at the domestic level- it’s embarrassing. There are only so many Hungarians, Latvians and Lithuanians you can face before people tell you to stop being a con artist and step up.

Is there any actual quotes from boxing pros that Yarde has a glass chin?

And when is Buatsi "going to step up"? As I said earlier, you can't criticize Yarde's opponents and ignore the cack Buatsi has fought. It's hypocrisy.

Fair enough if Buatsi started knocking out Buglioni and Johnson, but he hasn't.
