well at least now you're conceding the reality of what happened at the end of that fight. No one claimed Ward was a huge puncher, but then neither does he "hit like a girl", and he's about as mentally strong as you ever see.

Kovalev on the contrary had the classic bully mentality. Once someone stood up to him, he folded in a corner.

 

Kovalev has no discipline, makes mistakes that cost him the fight. No brain, just banking on pushing his opponent into submission with his power boxing.
It looked like Kovalev was taking over, 1 mistake and it was all over. Someone like Ward could have survived this probably, Kovalev could have tried more to survive.

 

Guess that makes Kovalev a bigger joke since he couldn't beat him.

 

Honestly I don't see what he has taken out, this looked pretty much exactly like Kovalev in the Ward 2 fight. The fight even went the same way. Last fight he stopped a respectable guy in 2 rounds.

His chin maybe? But then again Kovalev was stopped by Ward who is a light puncher, so it's not really surprising that a hard puncher could stop him.

Nah, I don't see it.

Kovalev was good, he's definitely an elite LHW on his day but he's not an elite p4p type talent like many of us thought.

 

Now that you mention it it IS very late yawn.

 

At least Kovalev likely gets the got KTFO highlight reel of the year this time. The Ward one was a little anti-climatic and not as fun. An improvement in a way if you look at the bright side.

 

So Eleider Alvarez ****s up Kovalev now.

And in a couple months, Canelo Alvarez will probably **** up Golovkin (I'm sorry to say. In this case, I believe Golovkin is just on the decline).

Alvarezes are really going to traumatize the Eastern Euro community here.

 

Well i suppose it's the Gulag for Sergey....unless Trump can put in a good word or two for him.
