    Now Chickenson will fight Kovalev. He was waiting for someone else to soften him up. Stevenson vs Kovalev next.

    I'd be surprised tbh. Risk / Reward isn't really there for him.

    More likely is he signs up to the LHW tourney and fights undeserving challengers till then.

    i dont think even now. adonis is adonis. and hes 40.

    though he did suprise me by facing Bad Jak.

    No, I don't think so. Let's see:
    a) if Stevenson wins over Gvozdyk, why would he care about Kovalev now without Sergey's belts? (high risk/low reward);
    b) if Stevenson loses to Gvozdyk, he would retire or move up to cruiserweight.

    (In case Stevenson tries to be tricky again and somehow move away from fighting Gvozdyk at all, he will lose his belt — Egis Klimas has said that's the position of the WBC executives and I tend to believe him.)
