Good match up, this fight is much closer on paper after the events that just transpired this weekend. Bivol had a tricky fight with Chilemba who gave him issues all night, that fight will have taught Bivol a lot. Alvarez turned up and scored a big upset knockout against most people's no.1.

Right now I edge to Bivol, it will be interesting to see who can win the battle of jabs because that might be the key. it's a close fight though, who you got and what you think of the matchup??

Bivol ain't no Kovalev! It's going to be a tough fight for Alvarez.

50:50 but Bivol should edge it because he's younger.
    Alvarez is 34

What u smoking? It was a near shutout for Bivol.. Chilemba landed 15% of his punches! LOL Bivol is so good at moving in and out of range and slipping punches. His footwork is superb. He must have realized he couldn’t crack that nut and played it safe. I was impressed with his patience & maturity... Chilemba at best won 2 rounds in my book!

Some are disappointed that Bivol didn’t make it a more emphatic victory.. Yet its fine when Alvarez barely squeaks past him (in fact it looked like he lost to me!) Chilemba will stink up any fight. I could easily direct my criticism at Chilemba instead for not really attempting to win. He just hung around and hung around hoping Bivol would get overeager and make a mistake I guess. Easy win for Bivol.

    Bring on Alvarez...

Bivol still did clearly better than Alvarez against Chilemba. Alvarez has a good jab and he could prove me wrong again - but I have to go with Bivol for now.

Toss up fight...Bivol is a great young fighter, I wasn't overly impressed with the Chilemba fight. He started out great, but once Chilemba started to make adjustments I felt like Bivol got a little confused and didn't have a back up plan. That said, Chilemba has done that to a lot of guys, but I still expected more from Bivol.

    Bivol.

His footwork and throwing in combinations will be the deciding factor.

It was a good learning fight for Bivol but at point in that fight he looked abit lost. He got the job done and Chilemba gives everyone fits, alongside Trout he is one of the toughest guy to look good against when you beat. I'm not smoking anything but that was not a comfortable win for Bivol he had to think in there, Chilemba gave him alot of different looks and was using his jab well.

I dont think its an easy win for Bivol, I lean to Bivol but Alvarez has the best win on the resume between the two of them, I think Bivol has a better gas tank, and handspeed which is what separates him and Kovalev at this point.

:risas3: Isaac thinks he got Shafted

What you been doing to that boy, Roy? lol.

You got Shafted against Bellew no question and many feel you beat Alvarez, but sorry but you only won a few rounds against Bivol (at best).
