No. It will give him a better resume than anybody else at the moment, everybody but Pacquiao, but p4p isn't the same as best resume or Pacquiao would still be p4p. GGG's noticeably declined and is less dominant than Lomachenko or Inoue at the moment. P4p is based on a combination of resume and eye test and you can move a fighter down in a p4p ranking even if they haven't lost based on the eye test. That's why Floyd Mayweather didn't deserve to be #1 any more after about 2012. People could see him slowing, getting hit more, and cherry picking opponents at the same time that Andre Ward, Nonito Donaire, Guillermo Rigondeaux, and Roman Gonzalez were doing amazing things. I had them p4p #1 through the post 2012 years.

With Usyk, Loma and Crawford being bang in their primes I think Golovkin has missed his chance now.

Even if he knocks Canelo out in 4 rounds, the other guys are a level above.

No, not when you look at what others are doing.

I like GGG but I couldn't make a case for him being P4P Number 1 even if he blasted Canelo out inside a couple of rounds.

No, GGG is a good fighter not a great boxer. IMO to be P4P you have to be top of both , I do like his style & the man's character ...but skill wise there are better...saying that he is in amongst the top guys...rightly so...unlike Ward

You could argue it, yes, but it wouldn't be clear cut. Usyk and Loma are on a tear right now.

They would be a better win than any win Crawford, Garcia, Usyk & even Loma have for that matter..

    So yes.

to me, p4p is where the best stand right now. the resume is only used as evidence to strengthen or weaken an argument. ggg may possibly not even be top 10 anymore, i dont think he is, but i wont have solid evidence to back that claim until september. either way, ggg will not be getting any better, hes heading in the opposite direction now.

I don't think the first fight was a win for him. Winning the rounds you win more clearly than the the opponent wins his doesn't mean you win the fight.

One question guys & be honest with the answer.......
Are you 100% sure Canelo will be 100% clean for the rematch ???? I'm not after what we've seen Oscar, Bob Bennett & the NSAC, & Vegas boxing officials. They wont take notice of PED's testing. No one will be supervising the Vegas official ?? NO ONE !!!As for the NSAC they make, break, .change & alter their rules as they please
I sincerely hope its a 100 % on the level fight with the legitimate best man getting the win. BUT I will not be holding my breath

Skill wise there are better? Maybe like 2 people on the planet (Loma, Usyk), that’s it.

You clearly have no clue and just believe GGG is a powerhouse because of his ridiculously high KO %.

Did he win 380 amateur fights out of 385 due to his power? No, it was his skill.
