Do you agree with his list? Ali No.1 Tyson No.2 Holmes No.3 Lewis No.4 Holyfield No.5 Also which one of these would AJ have the most chance of beating or knocking out?
I think a prime Foreman beats everyone, even Ali, even though Ali beat him the one time in Zaire. I think it is yet to be determined where AJ will be on the list. He may be near the top. Too early.
So a past-prime Ali beat a prime Foreman, yet you think prime Foreman beats Ali? That’s some ****ed up logic you have there. Joshua isn’t in the conversation right now. History will be the judge.
That is a list of a guy who knows absolutely **** all in regards to heavyweightboxing and it's history.
It's like a list a Regular Joe down the pub would do who hasn't watched boxing for 15 years since it was last regularly on terrestial TV.
Omitting the OG Brown Bomber is ignorant at best, and plain ****ing stupid at worst. His presence is non negotiable.
I think this was simply the list of his favorite fighters and not of who he thinks were the best in any particular order.
Do you know the circumstances of the Rumble in the Jungle? The fight was postponed and Foreman was not allowed to leave the country for fear he wouldn't return. Ali was hailed while Foreman was scorned. Foreman was psychologically dismantled before they ever stepped into the ring. It is a shame Foreman left boxing for many years after that fight. I think he would have beaten Ali in a rematch in the US. Norton beat Ali, broke his jaw. Does that make Norton an all-time great? Frazier beat Ali in the Fight of the Century. Foreman destroyed both of them.
