Jermall Charlo only fought once in 2017 against Sebastian heiland. If he plans on beating ggg or canelo he's gonna have to stay active it's already August and he has no opponent lined up for the fall. If he misses out this year. He probably won't fight again. Til next may to fight the ggg canelo winner and that's bad for him he'll already of been after a year layoff.
He's biding his time. I think he has big fights in front of him. We could be looking at Jermall replacing GGG to be the one to create real interest in fighting Canelo. After all, they both are 28. He has plenty of time.
Well according to the "lions only gay fanclub" he's already the best in the division....biggest, most skilled, fastest, horrible tattoos....so why bother fighting. It's all on the eye test man.
I thought lions were typically hungry creatures. With him being so inactive suggests to me that he's not hungry and also, he's probably enjoying that Al Haymon money more than boxing, which seems to be the case with many PBC fighters.

Not sure what's wrong with some of these young guys. They could tell Haymon to get them stay busy fights. Hell, Loeffler got Golovkin stay busy fights until he was 35-0. Charlo could stay busy pounding on the Wade's, Rubio's, Monroe's, Stevens types that Golovkin feasted on. Fighting once or twice a year is bull****.
No the Charlos should be headlining shows in Texas and New Orleans. They have been fighting on the undercards their whole careers.
