That's those Scottish genes coming through! Canelo v GGG.. The best Scots v Irish matchup since Celtic v Rangers..

If that is true then it baffles me why Canelo turned into Morade Hakkar.

Whoever loses the fight will never hear the end of it. Definitely a big silly statement, this one.

Lol good on him.Ive no problem with this as both these guys are normally restrained and in this case with Gennady already firing into him Canelo is quite within his rights to fire back lol.
After watching the highlights again today you can see that Canelo did some good work in there and imo Adelaide Byrd aside the draw wasn’t the worst decision I’ve seen.
Thing is though after those early rounds the good work that Canelo did was always early in each round and never sustained for any longer than thirty seconds at which point it was all Golovkin till the end of each round which the commentators duly noted.

I’ve long thought this that it may not be fair judging the guys work against the one who got his work in early but I’m afraid that’s just how thing usually go with the judges remembering the later work of each round.Does this make sense and is this a fair comment as I thought at the time that Canelo was brilliant and based on neither guy dominating or hurting each other a draw was pretty fair.

Exactly this, nor did Canelo hurt Golovkin to deserve winning all those belts so based on that a draw was ok by me.

Maybe Canelos chin is that good that he generally believes this.that said he is contradicting himself here as only a few weeks ago he said he rated Golovkins power a nine out of ten lol.
We’d see the absolute truth if both guys traded and fought in the manner they are both known for so in Canelos case no dancing about like a fairy and in Golovkins case no backing out on body shots for fear of getting countered.
Both guys imo were somewhat culpable for what they brought to the table that night and yet imo they still put on a very technical and pleasing performance albeit if not what we expected.
