Beating a cruiserweight that Bellew knocked out faster for an interim belt doesn't make you legit.

The sparring I've seen of Bryan and Miller suggests Miller would batter Bryan. If you can't land your jab on one of the most hittable current heavyweights you probably won't make it far.

I never heard of this guy before this thread but I'm surprised to find that he's the interim WBA heavyweight champion!

So far his most notable opponent is BJ Flores who isn't a big achiever in the heavyweight division. To be honest, I didn't know Flores was now a heavyweight, I thought he was still a cruiser.

Who knows, he may be a top contender. We won't know for sure until he faces a better opponent.

I'd like to see Bryan vs. an up-and-comer like Zhang or Gorman, or against a decent fringe contender like Jennings or Washington.

I saw that spar. Miller would blow all the energy in the first 5 rounds and after that Bryan would score points victory.

He would beat Gorman. Gorman is slower. Zhang is another story, I rate Zhang as well, so I have tough time to decide who would win but I would pick Bryan by close decision. Zhang is good prospect as well. As for Washington, Bryan would likely beat him by stoppage because Washington is hittable and Bryan can hit. All good fights for Bryan. King will pick someone from WBA's Top 15 next for Bryan.

I think Bryan might face Guilermo Jones next.

Bryan vs Parker could be good.

Hopefully we see him kick on from this and remain active. Washington or Molina would be a good fight for him next.

I wouldn't mind to see him in with the Charr vs Oqendo winner, if that fighter ever takes place of course.

No he’s not legit or he’s certainly not yet, his 2 opponents before the trash cruiserweight bj Flores were francois who had 2 wins 24 losses at the time and sandy Soto who had 2 wins 20 losses.
