Usyk vs Gassiev may have been the best cruiserweight matchup of the decade, but Huck vs Glowacki will remain the greatest cruiserweight fight of the decade! This content is protected Enjoy!
Another thing which deserves appreciation is the resume of Steve ''USS'' Cunningham. He has fought: Guillermo Jones. Krzysztof Wlodarczyk x2. Marco Huck. Tomasz Adamek x2. Wayne Braithwaite. Yoan Pablo Hernandez x2. Tyson Fury. Amir Mansour. Vyacheslav Glazkov. Antonio Tarver. Krzysztof Glowacki. Andrew Tabiti.
It was an amazing fight, edge of the seat stuff. I can still remember exactly the punch that put Huck down even after 3 years of watching it.
I was shocked there wasn't a rematch. Huck was owed as much after his long tenure at the top and the manner in which he went out.
Cunningham was a brilliant fighter. It's a shame his resume doesn't reflect the competitiveness he brought to the ring in almost every one of his fights. He had a good case for having beaten Glazkov and Tarver, and more or less has an unofficial win over Adamek. One of only two men to ever knock Tyson Fury down as well, which tends to be used to ridicule Tyson rather than praise Cunningham, unfortunately. He was also one of the most ridiculously ripped guys I've ever seen at the higher divisions. There was literally not one single fight I recall him ever taking coming in out of shape. Tremendous workhorse.
