^^^ Man, wish there were sigs allowed on this forum! :p:D:campeon:

There would be loads of trouble in the crowd for sure and all the recently recruited football fans "who are really really into boxing" would have to explain to their Essex girlfriends why they aren't such an expert after all.

No, firstly AJ is a Brit so patriotism and all that
Secondly Povetkin is a PROVEN drugs cheat.
However Povetkin has served his drug bans, the authorities are allowing him to fight, so as a boxing fan i say i want the best boxer to win, hoping that is AJ, but if not then so be it.

I feel sorry for Povetkin if he does beat that big stiff bodybuilder. The football hooligan fans, will probably start rioting and storm the ring, if their manufactured champ gets taken out. Shame the bomb squad aren't there to keep them in order. Lol.

More often than not I always go for a live underdog. If Povetkin comes in top form he definitely has a chance, since Joshua is still a 21 fight novice despite his raw talent. Takam was able to get in range on Joshua and go to the body, but his lack of power didn't allow him to do any real damage. If Povetkin gets inside Joshua will be in for a long night.

Well grant it all pro athletes take some form of PED’s I can’t help but feel Povetkin went above and beyond to obtain the extra hint of placebo effect for Wilder. I still think Wilder would have either sparked Povetkin or outpointed him in a close ugly fight. Dosent really matter now, I can’t imagine AJ losing to AP but stranger things have happened in boxing.

Yeah man, had the same sorta thing at GGG-Brook, people in a drinks queue pointing at my GGG t-shirt saying "he has no chance". Ok buddy, just be sure to throw your pint in surprise around the 5th round

    "Fragile Mandible"......

    Cmon now.

You don't get up from Wlad's right, and then get up and eat multiple Wlad left hooks if you're packing glass.

As all fighters tell you, shot or not, power is the last thing to go.

I am 100% rooting for Povetkin to knock his block off.

This is Sasha's last chance and I believe that he's going to be as ready as a razorblade come fight night. Meanwhile AJ is already spending his Wilder money and dreaming of greatness.

Povetkin will be his Corrie Sanders moment.

Even at 40-year old I see Povetkin as a very live dog in this fight. Gotta love a good upset.

I think Povetkin has a real chance here, he’s a very good challenger and I say that as an Englishman and a boxing fan.
As for the AJ hate on here, it’s ridiculous. The fella has brought the division alive, will continue to do so and is a breath of fresh air within what is an absolute shite division.

I'm no fan of the Russian Roider. But it would kinda be so funny to see the faces of the Matchroom and Sky boys if it happened.
