One other thing, most fans forget that Camacho had one of the best chins the sport. He has only been down twice and the first one was staged. The second one was legit coming form Oscar, but we are talking about a way past his prime Camacho when Oscar dropped him.

This would be a difficult fight for JMM but he has shown that he can deal with speed and power. I think JMM has a better chance than PAC in this particular fight. Don't get me wrong I think Pac has an advantage in many others but JMM is just more skilled and will be able to counter some of Camachos punches.

You're wrong Camacho was known for his blazing speed...his Ko's came because of his speed.

 

I saw his fight in youtube: pac is faster than that guy.However, I guess some of you are riding the hype on jow good macho is, jeez. Pac has speed and power, that gave jmm trouble, only then camacho knows how to use the ring,(which pac yet has to learn) same thing john did against jmm frustrating him. Put it all together and jmm gets really ****ed up.

Sorry my concept on the word hype is twisted. I'm a filipino and for god's sake dude i though the word hype means someone who has a bandwagon following or something. Sorry.
And yes i believe youtube alone is not enough, i did not reached camacho's time anyways.

Macho went 40-0 before losing to Chavez at 140 he was undefeated at 130,135, and 140 beating everyone he faced until he ran into ATG fighter in Chavez at 140 ....

Not to mention macho was already 31 or 32 at the time and past his prime when he fought Chavez....he was not the same fighter

You pretty much just contradicted yourself and somewhat showed your lack of knowledge about Camacho in a couple short sentences.

Speed+Power from a very tenacious, yet one dimensional(in comparison) fighter gave JMM trouble. He also had trouble from a slick boxer/mover in Chris John. Now, while I am of the mind that he won both of these matchups, Camacho was a totally different animal than either in his younger days. He was a very skilled, yet super fast and explosive boxer, whose boxing skills and speed alone would give Pacquiao hell, and whose power would only increase his effectiveness.

 

Riding the hype? He's been past his best for about 20 years now, try to keep up.

Several of these guys yesterday watched this video and then still went on to say that Pac was the faster of the two. Amazing really.
