Another keyboard bad mouthing warrior. Instead of insulting, you can consider saying something useful. Believe me, I like Calzaghe and rate him very highly but he is fading and it's natural. How can you think he looked good against Hopkins if even Calzaghe himself said he didn't perform ? his hand speed is still there, but his reflexes, timing and power are not there as they were in the Lacy fight. you are blind if you can't see that and believe me, I give him a lot of credit for beating Hopkins, a top 10 p4p fighter even that he is also very faded.

Nothing wrong with his opinions. :thumbsup He is entitled to them. I know, anyone that doesn't KNOW Joe schools Kelly is an idiot. Let Joe hold class, Kelly will ring his bell to end it.:deal

I haven't bad mouthed you, I just said you're comments are becoming embarrassing? You actually believe Joe isn't fighting Pavlik because he is scared?

    Wrong...again.

I can see many ways how Kelly Pavlik could defeat Joe Calzaghe, but it's all of this talk about why Joe isn't taking the fight. He's scared, he wants an easy payday, his father told him he can't win, it's all just ludicrious.

He isn't scared of any specific fighter, he is one of the bravest fighters I've seen inside the ring, he never says no to a brawl and comes back swinging after being knocked down. But Yeah, after all those years he is very scared of the thought of losing... He will be the first to admit: he said it many times in Interviews. He knows very well that at this stage of his career, Pavlik is a very big risk.

Geez. Do you even read the thread. Joe has been calling Kelly for 7 months. This is the first available slot Kelly had to answer, and he did. Joe forgot Kelly's name after his showing with Bhop. People said it was because his stable mate was signed to fight Kelly, but the amnesia has lasted longer. I think once they got the films and started studying them for Lockett the decision was made. Joe wan't even at ringside for his stablemate and dad against Kelly.

I have a question for the clowns who think Joe is ducking Pavlik ,

Why weren't this many dam threads about :

    Winky and Floyd

    Jones Hopkins

Calzaghe /Hopkins prior to their bout

Calzaghe Taylor when Taylor first became champ and Joe mentioned him ??

This **** has gone on for yrs ..But for some reason this particular fight has all the Pavlik fans panties in a bunch ..

Have you asked yourself how they'll feel if Roy thoroughly owns Joe? It's very possible....and for the love of boxing please stop pretending that victory over Popkins was so monumental....it was an ugly win, sure a wins a win but damn that was ugly....I know it's Popkins style right?
