Let's be honest, if Fury looks sensational against Pianeta there's no way Wilder will take the fight. Fury needs to look bad, eat up a few punches, maybe even take a knee or something and scrape to a victory and Wilder might accept

Pianeta might already be taking a Scuba Scott dive and Wilder is in on it.

Never thought about that, so if Fury is genuinely poor will I have to listen to Fury and Wilder fans say it was deliberate?

    Oh FFS

I hope Fury looks great and all this just moves on.

No doubt it's one of Furys plans but will he actually go through with it and how far?

Fury still has to get fans to notice him and he really needs a K.O here to sell a Wilder fight bc we know Wilder wont...lol

Wilder has already turned the wheels in motion so he's going to avoid this fight anyway if that's what he intended in the first place.

Wilder isn't to bright but even he can't think anything less then stellar performance against Pianeta is not expected.

What happens if Wilder can't reach a deal with Fury?
Like he couldn't with Wlad or Joshua?

Do we still take his word over 3 Unified HW champs?

Everyone knows that I've little love for Fury but honestly every extant video version of him - including the green self-uppercutting one - is MUCH better than Pianeta.

Doesn’t Wilder fight Breazeale first anyway?

Breazeale has 1,000x more chance to shock the world than Pianeta.

...and Breazeale is hot flaming garbage.

of course fury is better than pianeta, but pianeta has never been good at all, relative to the levels by which im measuring all of them. taking that into account, and numerous other variables which i have considered, its going to look competitive, and its not because pianeta is a good fighter.
fury, at his best, would lose to wilder of today, and i dont rate wilder at all outside of his whip of a right hand. thats the levels im talking about.

That he does.Ciabatta looks like another cruiser weight compared to Fury and like his last fight has the feel of an exhibition

No all boxers believe they are the best (well good ones anyway) so he won't care what happens in this fight...

Maybe his management team will but not Wilder...

Pianeta was stopped by Kevin Johnson last October.

Just let that sink in, dooooo it, let it sink in, Kevin Johnson, yeah that Kevin Johnson, remember him? Yes him, seriously, Kevin Johnson stopped Pianeta.

If you don't remember Kevin Johnson then maybe this will remind you, he was Joshua's 13th fight.

Kevin Johnson was apparently "done with boxing" over 3 years ago.

And Pianeta was stopped by him, so let's not pretend this is difficult in any way shape or form.

It will be hard to look bad against Pianeta because Pianeta looked so awful and downright horrible in his last "fight" that I fear for his life vs. featherfisted Fury.
