No one can deny that the promotion of Wilder as an American HW and WBC strap holder with 39KOs is nothing short of abysmal. Even now he's doing these 45 mins interviews on these crappy youtube channels talking utter garbage making himself look like fool. No one knows who the **** he is in the USA outside boxing fans. I work there and no one has any interest. On a fight night I asked who's watching the fight (in Tuscaloosa, AL, his home town) and most people could care less. He's fought absolutely nobody other than a 50 year old Ortiz (who nearly Koed him) and now he's going for the last hurrah to cash in the chips. I don't believe he can beat Fury or Joshua he's way too one dimensional. Jabbing off Stiverne's head once with nothing coming back is not proof of concept...

I think Eddie in protecting his AJ cash cow by cashing in two sold out wembley shows inc UK PPV but it may now backfire as Fury will IMO beat Wilder and then AJ will have one big show instead of potentially 2. I guess 2 Wembley easy money fights + 1 big US PPV is better than 2 big if he's done the risk/reward math. It's all about the numbers guys, not legacy or fans or anything else these second hand car salesmen are selling.

This whole HW debacle is due to Eddies arrogance, DAZN and Matchroom USA launching and Hearn having far reaching agendas for HIS business and lowest risk way to maximise his profits. He can say he works for AJ etc etc but its clear that AJ is not the sharpest tool in the box and is making millions so has no reason to stop the gravy train. I think Wilder v Fury ruins his legacy as he could have KOed both of them taking their O's. Now he can only potentially take one's "0".

I noticed it but didn't 2nd guess, after revisiting the clip since reading your post, good observation. That is brilliant (editing)/thinking. I do wonder if anyone knew he was showing up though since he isnt fighting, just an observer.

Yet in the first part of this video Wilder is talking about how a load of people at the weigh in wasn't sure it was him or not.

    Turns out Hearn is right
