After Wilder decks the big stiff idiot, these forums will implode.

Fury supporters will be stabbing themselves in disbelief at how Wilder could POSSIBLY beat the guy that would "easily" beat Ali. Wilder supporters will need underwear changes every half hour to avoid staining as they proclaim their galoot the best ever because he destroyed the guy that deluded Fury supporters said was the GOAT.

Normal boxing fans will just shake their heads and wonder how TF did the HW scene become so dire, and how TF did anybody think the flabby ghost of Tyson Fury could actually win.

Fury needs to Matrix Wilder to win, and the version we just saw couldn't do it to the worst ever version of Pianeta.

Fury did look like he was pulling his punches a bit on Pianeta. There were stretches where it looked like he literally did a boxercise combo on his opponent. There were minor times when he unloaded though, mainly with body shots, and you saw a trace of his former power.

I honestly don't know what to make of the situation though. Was Fury punching so lightly because he genuinely lacked strength, or was he worried about gassing? Did he not want to hurt Pianeta, or 'lure' Wilder in? Only Fury knows, and I wouldn't bet on him giving the correct answer either.

I struggle to see any similarities between Tyson Fury and Luis Ortiz. I would go so far as to say their styles are poles apart.

I so wish that the "he's luring him in" crowd were right and Fury boxes a masterclass. What a trollportunity!

Ortiz is more accurate, he is a sharper puncher than fury and he hits harder. Fury will suffer the same fate as Ortiz just earlier.

You're the same guy that believes a 40 year old pedless Povetkin is still a prime beast to be reckoned with, so you really are no position to speak

If that was case he would be chasing AJ because that's the money fight.

Unless he's that bad that they don't think he could get through the matchroom gatekeeper that Eddie would have him fight in advance of the AJ fight?

On current evidence Bellew or Whyte would knock him into next week.

Only my opinion as a fan but I'd say fury and Ortiz are nothing alike.

I'm the guy basing the opinion that Povetkin is still dangerous on the fact that he's won every fight since Wlad and his last fight by vicious KO.

Notice the difference in attitude from Wilder when comparing Fury to Povetkin.

Why, Wilder is watering at the mouth when he sees Fury's jiggling man titties. Every ripple across that lardy stomach elicits a smile of delight from Wilder. When he saw Fury's nothing punches he probably popped a woody. Fury as he is right now is Wilder's perfect opponent. Ol' Deontay hasn't been so chuffed since Dustin Nichols rolled into town.

While, when Wilder had to fight ANCIENT (and allegedly harmless) Povetkin, he ran away like Satan himself was riding him down on a giant skeletal horse wreathed with fire.

    'Tis to laugh.

10/10. The headline on this thread is ludicrous.

Nothing alike and Fury is not in fighting shape.
What stamina? There is a difference between going rounds with Wilder and Pianeta

They nothing alike, not even remotely.

Tyson Fury is not a counterpuncher and Luis Ortiz based on the eye test alone hits about 10x times harder than
    Fury.

That's all you need to know.
