Didn't you predict Parker to KO Joshua and Whyte ffs.

Pianeta was terrible any of the top 5 maybe top 10 would have despatched him before the final bell. This is Fury, he looked terrible before the Wlad fight and look what happened. Wilder should win but.......

I thought that was a bit weak. I'd of said you can touch it if you beat me. Than you can have the belt too.

Yeah baby, I CAN wait for this one. Especially after Fury's performance at the weekend, it really deflated this future event for me.

I agree with a lot of this. Wilder is a hard opponent to make a game plan for. Not in the sense he's tricky to outfox, but because I truly believe he does not even contemplate an approach which will result in a points win, he knows his limitations. So he's more than comfortable losing round after round after round. He's merely waiting for an opening to land on a tiring opponent, and then he windmills like hell until his opponent falls or the ref steps in.

I don't think he even tries to win on points. So Fury will probably rack up the rounds until he makes one big error and then Wilder will pounce. I actually think this is what makes AJ nervous about fighting Wilder because when you share a ring with him you don't share the fight.

Joshua likes predictable patterns and scoring with his basic one-twos, which he will regularly. And yet Wilder won't care. Like with the more elusive Fury, against AJ he will just wait for the opening.

Now, I'm not saying Wilder would beat AJ but I do think his KO-focused approach would unnerve him. And backing off in straight lines as he does (don't forget the slow feet) and being vulnerable to right hands because of this, adds to the danger.

Fury is way more elusive, of course, but he doesn't have Joshua's power to keep Wilder honest. Fury will tie Wilder up in knots right up until the moment he lets his guard down. Then what? I think he gets knocked out....

Of course Fury never lost them in the ring. That tends to happen when you do not defend your titles. Remember he ducked a rematch v Klitschko twice.

You name me any other world champion that didn't defend his titles yet wasn't stripped of those titles.

Fury was rightly stripped unless you believe fighters can just win world titles and then not defend them yet remain champion all because they were not beaten in the ring. That's completely ridiculous!!!

The only paper champion is the one who ducked a rematch vs Klitchko not once but twice.

If we go by what the OP thinks Buster Douglas could of beaten Tyson stopped fighting for 2 years yet still claim to be the champion and #1 HW in the world. If that's what a champion is then I think we are watching a different sport.

Naaa. Regardless of who wins, niether will be the man until they beat the man, and Joshua is the man. Claiming either Wilder or Fury is the champ without fighting the guy who has the most belts, is the highest earner, has the best resume, the biggest crowds and global recognition as the champ is just sad and based on bias and emotion rather than logic and reason. Im niether a Wilder, Joshua or Fury fan, but I can say without a second thought, Joshua is the man, and will remain the man at heavyweight until he is beaten.

If AJ refused to fight his mandatory in Povetkin and was stripped would AJ still have a claim to be called the WBA champion as he wasn't beaten in the ring?

I can't wait for Fury to spend the next 3 months claiming he will get a knock out, only to jab him into a UD in an absolute stinker of a fight that will leave casuals and Wilder fanboys crying

Agree very much with your analysis. People around here act like Fury is some 6'7" flabby version of Lomachenko. I just don't see it. He's not faster, nor more mobile than The Bomber. He may have an edge in technical ability but he doesn't have anything to keep Deontay honest.
