Does anyone know who's running Boxnation ? It's not MTK , they've got a deal. George Warren wrote an article about BN in boxing news a while back.

I was going to post a thread before asking if anyone still subscribed to this!

It’s a good fight but if you look at it bluntly it’s basically a PPV as BN isn’t giving you anything else for the month...

I thought he was awful against Brook but actually looked good at times against Thurman.

He is a handful for anybody but Garcia has good timing although i still think he looks weak at 147, Porter will make his size count and maybe stop Garcia late imo

Anyone else think Garcia is the biggest over achiever in boxing? He's had some career for someone who isn't close to elite at any aspect of the game. Maybe it's just me, but aside from the Matthysse fight I just never saw what was special about him.

The Porter fight could be a real ugly, messy fight.

Boxnation could be a quality channel, if they showed live boxing every weekend. It can’t be hard can it? How much would they be paying to get the Garcia fight for example? Anyone know?

that's they what they used to be like, i remember a specific time in November/December 2015 where they showed 4 middleweight tittle fights in the space of a month, now it just sucks. I've always been interested to know how much it costs them to buy the international fights, same for sky as well.

I don't think any of us know how much is paid but clearly it's a small amount as there is no other competition to broadcast the fight. It comes down to whether the amount offered is worthwhile for Harm in to accept ie he might reject an offer he feels is taking the '**** '. I would imagine that the recent Russian show was probably offered to BN for very little or even for free to give the fighters involved some international coverage. As far as I'm concerned this is why BN has never signed deals with US promoters/tv companies, Top Rank excepted, as they want to keep the rights fees to a minimum. That's why we've always had inconsistent coverage. It's a pity that us, as subscribers, haven't been able to pay our fees in the same way. If that had been the case we may have been treated with more respect.

Never been a big fan to be honest, especially at 147. He has a padded record and no elite wins, i hope porter finally puts him to rest.

Got an email from them earlier saying they were discontinuing Ch 490 - or whatever number their HD/Box Office channel was on Sky. Ch 427 only going forward so I suspect it is back to viewing in SD only. A bit disappointing but the main thing is we see the fights.

His resume’ looks good on paper but arguably, some of them wins were against lads with plenty of mileage on the clock. That shot against Khan was a peach though.

They definitely looking to cut costs then. To cut HD broadcasting is pretty worrying and is a clear sign the channel is on its way out.

Makes you wonder how many subscriptions they have lost over the last few months
