Hearn: "If Fury gets tonked out by Wilder, the Joshua fight will never happen"

Fury at the moment is very irrelevant in the HW scene so the question isn't really pressing at this time.

 

Why does Hearn say the Fury fight will 'NEVER' happen if he gets sparked out by Wilder? Delayed? Makes sense. For a lesser purse? Again, I can see that. But Hearn over-emphasises the word 'NEVER' in that sell-snow-to-the-Eskimos style of his. I'm sorry, Hearn becomes harder to defend by the day.

Seeing as AJ himself identified Wilder and Fury as his two main targets in the long run, might be a good idea for Hearn to ask his employee if he's happy with this too. Because it seems Hearn is making the Wilder fight and any potential clash with Fury (should he lose) harder to make not easier....

He's just sounding a little bitter that a spanner has been thrown in the works of his master plan, and when it comes to controlling the HW division his position has been weakened.

 

Fury will take to his bed when he gets knocked out anyway, he will never be seen again so we don't need to worry about AJ fighting fury.

 

SO he’s saying if Wilder wins by KO then the (Wilder) fight with AJ will never happen ... because it further confirms Fast Eddie’s worst nightmare that AJ can’t handle Deontay?

You do know what "tonked" means? I take it to mean battered/KTFO. So if Fury gets battered/KTFO why on earth would he get a Joshua fight?

People like you have justified Wilder not fighting Whyte and justified Whyte having to wait even though he is number 1 for Wilder well if Fury gets beat he can wait, he would have to get in to a position to be a mandatory and accept a mandatory splits/money.

Fury could have fought AJ now for far more money than he'll get for fighting Wilder, but he chose Wilder, that's his problem, that's the risk he has taken.

He has done nothing but slaughter and abuse Hearn and Joshua and then you expect Hearn and Joshua to turn around and give him a huge payday and help rebuild his career after a Wilder beating?

Let's not forget Hearn offered Fury.. Bellew, Whyte and then AJ for seriously big money, all PPV fights.

Fury chose, Sefer Seferi, Pianeta and Wilder, the first two were poor fights and not big money, the Wilder fight is just one PPV fight, one belt and less money.

Fury has chosen his route/path and Hearn shouldn't have to make it easy for him, that's FW's job.

So GTFO with this nonsense that they are trying to "avoid" a beaten up/KTFO Tyson Fury.

Hearn has said if Fury wins then the Fury fight is very big and possible.. but If Hearn said he still wants AJ to fight Fury even if Fury gets "tonked"..

Then you'd be on here saying "Hearn wants AJ to fight Wilders left overs" and "Hearn wants AJ to fight a broken and beaten Fury".

This ridiculous and constant goal post shifting just to try and score worthless points against Hearn and AJ is getting so out of hand.

 

No, he is saying if Fury gets knocked out then AJ Vs Fury wouldn't happen, which I think is right, why would it? Unless Fury wins a few good fights and gets in to a mandatory position.

Fury would have to fight his way to a title shot and then accept a mandatory split, that's how boxing works,

To be fair to Hearn, as I'm sure you would wish, Molina was imposed by Haymon. Part of the deal which brought Martin and his IBF Belt to London.

Hearn is on record stating that he basically owns him.

That's why he signs AJ's contracts on his behalf.

 

Last time I checked, Fury was not HOF material and one of the most well known boxer globally. That is why beating him after he get KOed by Wilder would mean as much for AJ at this point in his career.

Fury is not stupid. He knows he gets knocked out by both Wilder and AJ. He’s picking Wilder as his last payday as he couldn’t stand the thought of AJ and Hearn laughing at him.

Whether true or not, I have lost a great deal of faith in AJ all the same. It really does appear that he wants no part of Wilder. :-/
