Simply “Kovalev will exercise” is a headline. If he actually works out, that would be a big deal.

Kovalev is stubborn. But, with the right approach, he can beat Alvarez.

This. If he works on his defense and actually listens to his corner for once he should be able to regain his title.

some humility and personal responsibility would be a good place to start his new camp.

I think he can beat him in a rematch, but I don’t trust him too, I’m going for Alvarez TKO again.

The Krusher that went 12 rounds with 50 year old Hopkins?

    Ward exposed him......
Now he'll never be the same again.

I had Kovalev up 5-1 when he was stopped. It's certainly a fight that he can win.....

I'd like to see Kovalev back in the kind of shape he was in against Hopkins. He never tired in the late rounds of that one.

He needs to mentally get back to where he was. He hasn't been right since returning to the place where the other boxer was killed, some in the media kept pestering him about what happened and it deeply upset him - he seems to have lost some of his drive to succeed since then.

I like this and it’s a better move for Kovalev then moving up in weight or even retiring.

This is a winnable fight for Kovalev and if Bivol is on the undercard again that puts a Kovalev-Bivol match up back on track. Or it makes a Bivol-Alvarez fight a bigger deal if he were to beat Kovalev again.
