Fury did say he'd like to have one more fight before Wilder. Big Tyson was clearly shook when the devastating bandana-wearing bronze bomber stormed the ring after the Pianeta fight.

If its true then it shows that Fury has some sense in him after all. I'd like to see him fight Wilder, but not when his man-titties are bigger than Miss November's. If I were him I'd take 2 more tune ups and not one, tbh.

A fully fit and focused Fury boxes Wilder's ears off.

On the other hand, it's amusing to see the Wilderinas around here melt down when the chance of their hero splattering another big name bum evaporates. They also know Fury right now has no chance and were dying to trumpet a "monumental" Wilder win over him.

I hope it is true as I would just as soon wait for Fury to get a couple more tune-up bouts under his belt and increase the likelihood of this actually being a competitive fight than have him show up for an easy pay day, get knocked out in the early rounds and potentially suffer from diminished career prospects thereafter.

This move would make sense for both camps: for Wilder because beating a better version of Fury than the current version will legitimise the win in the eyes of boxing fans and prevent detractors from complaining that he beat a washed out bum; For Fury because a more competitive performance will help improve his confidence as he attempts to re-establish himself as a force to be reckoned with in the heavyweight division (and let's face it: the heavyweight division needs him at the moment.)

If it's true, this fight will never happen, most probably.

Just a few months ago Dan Rafael was badly wrong when he said Whyte was going to face Ortiz and then straight after Whyte-Parker was announced.

The uk boys who are desperate and giddy for this fight not to happen, that they are willing to blindly believe and put all their faith in a ''he said, he told me'' hearsay rumor with no quotes or statements from the participating parties, better understand that if it were to be true that Fury is on the verge of pulling out, then it once again disgraces the reputation of british fighters as certified cowards

And all this talk of Wilder is a bum sounds more ******ed by the day as that would be two uk HW champions who avoided Wilder because they didn't feel ready.

However I don't believe Fury is a coward, I believe he's a pure through and through fighting man and will not fail to honor his word. Which is why I don't give me thought to these latest murmurings of the fight not happening.

Only a week ago there were lemmings on here telling everyone it was a pr stunt, then those same lemmings went on the campaign to convince everyone Fury is a washed up bum that needs more fights.

The simple remedy to all this is not to jump the gun and wait for the inevitable announcement of the fight instead of reaching a conclusion based on a some murmurs from someone who is out to make a name for themselves.

This. If Fury backs out he's doing the same thing he criticized Haye for. If he wasn't ready he should've stayed quiet until he was. It looks like Tyson has done Peter a favor in not bringing him back as his coach, since he would've just wasted Peter's time.

Yeah like anyone with a brain or people that don't hate Hearn/Matchroom/AJ have been saying the whole thing was bs from the start, and just Wilder and Fury trying to take the shine off Joshua vs Povetkin. For awhile they really succeeded. But still close to a month out, interest will start to rise again. Haters should really starting hating the right people, this Pilsbury fat **** with the dreadful style should not have another fan after this. Especially if this was real and a huge profile builder for Wilder to beat Fury.

Where are the quotes or interview from Fury stating he's having second thoughts and wants to pull out?

I must have missed it surely, considering it's been confirmed on here by ESB insiders that the fight is off

I thought Wilder had no skills whatsoever? Isnt there a thread here with a 100 point bulletin list why Wilder is glass jawed and a fraud? Now all of a sudden everyone is worried for Fury's well being and think Wilder will damage his health.

If Tyson Fury waits until he regains his full strength and is back to his best sometime in 2019, Wilder will avoid him.

Wilder was interested in fighting the current weakened version of Fury, but not a future fit and healthy version.

Altho he sucks as an analyst, Fan Dan typically does a good job with reporting. He does get some things wrong, however, as noted above. I hope what he’s hearing this time is bunk or else a mere negotiating ploy.
