How can you provide evidence of something that hasn't happened yet? Informed opinion, yes. Evidence of something confined to the future, no. My 'informed' opinion is AJ vs Wilder will do better numbers. Belfast did a lot for Wilder and, indirectly, the Wilder vs AJ fight. And if Wilder beats Fury, his profile will be higher still.

Hence my argument, which was there is 'no evidence' that Wilder generates more PPV than Parker.

He's looking for 90s numbers. Wilder hasn't been handled well enough to get to that level.

 

He hasn't...Yet it's everybody elses fault.

Wilder has been offered $15,000,000 for April, but wants more money.

So he needs to generate more money himself....Hearn isn't going to do everything for him, Hearn has been promoting him to the UK media for 12 months.

 

The other thing I don't get is the sudden opinion that Shelly Finkel is some sort of business genius. I've had a couple of interactions with him - prob the only poster on here that has - and despite it not being boxing related had to say found him to be a bit gung ho with other people's money and willing to risk it on things which he seemed to have a very poor understanding of.

Look up his SFX business which he and Robert Sillerman wete convinced was worth billions. I was a bemused spectator throughout their farcical attempts to monopolize electronic music.

He said he doesn’t get involved with the boxing business and Eddie makes all decisions he only advises... and his advice was the fight will only get bigger.

However, Hearn and Joshua made and offers regardless and invited Wilders team to respond to the offer with their comments if they want to make the fight.

I don’t care who you are the most ignorant of boxing fan can appreciate the longer this back and forth goes on the bigger the fight gets... so why just because he says it does it mean they are ducking.

I personally can’t stand Barry Hearn most of the time but thought he was just being candid and honest in this video.

The likelihood is both sides have done there best to flex muscles and smoke the other out... both sides are probably privately content with it building more and more.

I don’t know why people are so obsessed with trying to dissect and catch out AJ and Hearns side for ducking.

 

I think Wilder's team are completely conning Deontay.

I like Deas, I get the impression he and Deontay are willing to fight whoever they have to.

But this is another fight which seems to be a struggle for all these parties, which are taking a cut from Wilder, to be on the same page.

Dibella seems to have no idea what is happening with the Fury fight.....
Finkel seems to have completely lost it, asking Frank Warren to help him finance a fight with Joshua.....
And poor Deas/Wilder seem to be unable to do anything but do what they're told.


This isn't new for Team Wilder.

They didn't want to make a unification after they got the WBC belt as Finkle said Wilder wasn't ready.....
They lost the pursebid to Povetkin....And are still being sued because of the reasons the fight didn't take place.....
Then they were trying to fight Parker, with Parker travelling to the States and spoke with Deas/Wilder.......
