If Nate Campbell beats Guzman, where does that put him in the list of ATGs?

This article doesn't make sense ... Nate Campbell and ATG go together like whiskey and milk. Is Guzman even scheduled to fight? Is Campbell scheduled to fight anyone? What Nate Campbell does best is speak negatively about Golden Boy Promotions, the WBC, while making Don King appear to be a godsend...boxing, not so much.

I have absolutely nothing against Campbell. I credit him for beating Diaz at Diaz' own game, but take into account my friend, that I am one that was never high on Juan Diaz to begin with........
.....even before Diaz lost to Campbell, I was one of the opinion that a good boxer like JMM would beat him handily.

To clarify, I never rated Juan Diaz as high as alot of the media members and forum members around here, so Campbell beating him was'nt imo a monumental accomplishment by Campbell, a good win, but not a great accomplishment imo.

......then you look at Campbell's losses to the likes of Robbie Peden twice, a fighter that JMM completely masterclassed and made quit, and maybe you can see where I'm coming from.

Not that I dislike Campbell, but this thread even mentioning that he could be an ATG??:huh
Its like saying that Carlos Baldomir was on his way to ATG status, based on a win over a mental midget in Zab Judah. Its just laughable.

ATG's under any circumstances dont lose to the likes of Robbie Peden.
    Its just that simple.

If Cambell wants to be even visible he has to avenge his loss against Casa......beating the winner of Katsidas-Diaz would help as well as giving Santa Cruz(the man who owned Casa but robbed)a righteous shot.....then i could see him up there at 135, but damn theres alot of greats at lightweight people!!!

It's an open book that Campbell was trying to secure that fight with Casa . . . which Casa openly refused.

Isnt Casa Campbells mandatory? Doesnt he eventually HAVE to fight him?

So along with this Casa I'm sure has no intention of fighting Santa Cruz who thoroughly owned him.........and some people on here think of Casa as #1....very interesting......couldnt be a more blatant farce in the sport other than Chad Dawson:deal

First off Guzman isn't great by any means so a win over Guzman is just a quality win but not an all time great one !!

guzman, perhaps many people viewed him as an A class skill fighter, he was ducked like many claim.. but still that doesn't mean ****. He hasn't fought anyone of note in the elite level. If campbell dispatches him, its not that of a great win but everyone will give him credit for that. But to be ATG he needs someone high of caliber like pacquiao

The 135 division at the present is a joke. We need better boxers in that division......
