Boxing history has been littered with fighters protected up until a certain point. Wilder needs a fight like Joshua, and needs it now. He's 33 and this is his one chance to finally break out and possibly become a star which only a win over AJ could do (although Fury might help that cause). Wilder needs AJ more than AJ needs him, hence why it's Wilder who actually wants this fight.

I don't think he's on the payroll but everytime he does a live stream he always gives Sporting Icons a huge shoutout in the comment section, almost in a *wink wink* fashion. That channel is complete Matchroom AIDS.

Hatman is always talking about "Wilder fan boys" but never says "Joshua fan boys". That shows bias right there.

This "on the payroll" nonsense is just that.

It's like with anything else, there's a rift opened up with two sides on it.

    1. Matchroom supporters

    2. Matchroom haters

Both sides are equally annoying and neither side is going to budge on their agenda.

Are all the haters on the "haymon payroll?"

Not everything is some conspiracy, people just like picking a side and defending ot its human nature.

Match room is effectively a PR company when you take away the glitter and spin. They’d be fools not to use social media channels for subversive advertising (its probably called something much cooler but it is what it is)

Some people probably still think the BBC is just there to keep them “informed” :dunno not a lot you can do with that

How about talking about another subject once in a while?

That’s why people suspect you are a plant, just like a couple of others on here who post heavily but on no other subjects than a Matchroom fighter,A matchroom show,a matchroom tv deal,Hearn,or criticism of a rival promotion and/or fighter and tv deal.

It’s blatant and it’s non stop.

Why don’t we have a discussion on something else boxing related right now?

I’ve just flicked through 45 of your posts and 42 are matchroom/Hearn related or criticising a rival promoter/fighter.

You are a walking propaganda leaflet and there are more of you on here.

Tell me some stuff about you? Who is your all time favourite boxer? Fight? Best show you have been to? Have you boxed?

Come on man, give me something otherwise you are looking like nothing more than a planted spambot.

I'll be honest with you im mostly only interested in the heavyweight division now.

Few years ago yeah I followed every division watched every card I could etc. But my priorities have changed and I don't have time to obsessively follow the sport anymore.

The main deal going down right now is the AJ/Wilder/Fury situation. I enjoy discussing it and passing the time during quiet patches at work.

Look man you can talk about whatever you want but it’s clear to me that there are people on this forum that are spamming the place with a pro matchroom spiel.
This is a forum to discuss anything boxing related, including yes promoters. But I think it’s very sad that a place for boxing discussion is inundated with this crap,it’s relentless on here and with Hearn now in the states it’s the general and the British so there’s no escaping it.

It'll be like this until they fight and get it over with. It's just like when floyd/pac stuff was all that ever seemed to get talked about.

I just do not agree about Wilder avoiding everyone for 7 years....He cannot be blamed for Pvetkin failing a drugs test after signing up to fight him IN RUSSIA...

    or

AJ challenging him to put up $50 million to fight in USA then McCraken/Hearn pulling the rug.!!!

I do however agree Matchroom overall have been good for UK boxing until it has become this PPV steamroller ...It seems that there is LESS quality boxing on now than in recent years

You are mostly/only interested in the worst ,most boring division in Boxing?

There are posters on here with 2500 posts in less than 6 months...and a lot of that is Matchroom spam, instantly putting up Matchroom news, fights ,ppv news etc ....

You get a good percentage of this board constantly criticising Matchroom and their respective fighters at any given opportunity so it balances itself out.

Even better if you get sick of reading about it, don't read it?

I used to quite like istenig to Hatman but yes he does see to have changed his tune lately. Glad I'm not the only one who has noticed it.
