Ali was quicker and had a better chin, Tyson threw more shots and better combo`s, Louis had quicker hands and Marciano was better in the pocket but Wlad`s reach may have been too much for all four of them.

 

AJ, Bowe and a slim Fury all have/had better jabs than Wilder, he doesn`t throw as many jabs as Bowe used to.

 

Holy was too light in his first fight with Bowe and was overpowered.

 

Bowe was awful in that fight, Mercer was his room mate at the Olympics and said Bowe was scared before his final there and started going on about losing and how humiliated he might be and stuff so Mercer went and slept in the corridor, he didn`t have a winners mindset at that early stage of his career he was far better by the time he met Hoyfield for the title after Futch smoothed him out.

he fought smarter and utilized his jab, Holy had a tendency to slug it out when he didn't have to.

 

I don't know who stopped it but it wasn't the ref. Lewis deserved that win as much as the Korean who beat Roy Jones!

 

Bowe was missing all over the place in that bout he fought nothing like Jones in `88!

 

Bowe won the first round and got robbed in the second. The ref also kept interfering and distracting him. That bout is meaningless.

It all depends on how you weight lists. Is legacy more important than H2H?

You could argue Ali, Lewis, Louis and maybe Holmes as ahead. IMO. But again, it's debatable. Some guys don't even have Wlad in top ten. I've seen other guys argue for #1. I feel roughly 5 is about right.
