I think Jacob's jab alone would cause Hurd fits. DJ isn't some small past-prime JrMW ala' trout. We're talking someone who would be equal in size, yet is quicker and more polished technically.

I think Hurd would be violently knocked unconscious. He's getting into that territory where he thinks he can walk through anyone's power and is buying into the infallibility of his own chin a little too much. Jacobs before the GGG fight had a KO percentage of around 90%, and Hurd was rocked repeatedly by Trout. Sure Arias took his punches, because he was hauling ass the whole fight, yet still managed to get dropped once, and Sulecki is far slicker than Hurd, with superior head movement, well he went down too. If Hurd fight the way he fought against Lara, Harrison and Trout, this fight will only have one outcome, Jacobs by KO.

I think Hurd struggles the moment he moves up, he’ll loose that huge size advantage that he relies on and he won’t be able too take clean shots from people like he does at 154

Hurd is right but he wouldn't have the size advantage anymore. 55/45 in favor of Jacobs.

Hud must be hanging out with Antonio Margarito.

If I remember right Harrison had the fight in the bag but ran out of gas and got KO'ed.

Hurd is basically the new Margarito style wise. They both are tall for their weight class. They both are seen as massive for their weight despite the fact that neither rehydrates all that much. They both could use some improvement in technique and footwork. But the desire, work rate and toughness are all there.

Right now Jarrett Hurd is the most grueling and taxing opponent of anybody in boxing in any weight class.

I'll say some good things about Hurd. He will fight anybody, he's not afraid to fight anyone and he will give you everything he has in the ring.

As far as him beating Jacobs I disagree. I would favor Jacobs. I don't think Hurt matches up well against a guy who's naturally larger and punches hard. His style seems more suited for a boxer or other pressure fighter. With his style of using his face for defense I would advise him to steer clear of bangers.

Guys like Hurd are impressive against guys they can hit and take a punch from. Sooner or later he will come across a guy he can't touch and be beat all over the ring. He will be made to look way out of his league with no plan b. Jacobs is that type of fighter.

Turd is full of it! His biggest attribute which is size would be gone. Jacobs is bigger, better boxer, hits harder. Turd also has questionable defense. Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he got Quillin'd.
