Kudryashov's like Julian Jackson or Randall Bailey; either he knocks his opponent out, or he gets knocked out.

Well the MBTA fucked me...should've been home in time for the main event, if not Davtaev & Idigov (though seeing Kudryashov, which originally was my reason for being interested to check out this card, was probably realistically never within my grasp, based on how my day's timing panned out)

Silver lining of this "progressive takeover"/Arab Spring BS we are having in MA right now (some very qualified & experienced - and true blue - Democrat incumbents lost to dangerously inexperienced candidates due to identity politics yesterday, including my friend Mike Capuano) is that Republican governor Charlie Baker, popular as he is and once thought immune to challenge, is almost certain to get booted from office in November, ending his years of bungling attempts to "fix" the MBTA (instead bringing it from kind of crappy to a zillion times worse) - hard to imagine even a chimp on a typewriter wouldn't be an improvement at this point. :ohno

    Round 1

Liebau tries some cheeky jumps inside early, slapping up top with left hooks mostly caught on the back of the wrist underneath Salamov's right glove tape. Salamov is throwing a ramrod double & triple jab into the guard of Liebau, forcing him to retreat with his full upper body folding away, shoulders drooping precariously top-heavy over his buttocks & pointed at the canvas. Liebau is snapping upright and circling at mid-range, cautiously, guard held up and just a few jabs strewn out for cover as he orbits. Salamov is resting his left glove on his thigh while thrusting his lead knee forward and crab-trotting in on Liebau, experimenting with some body-head-body 1-2-3s and reaching in for some prodding double-jabs on the navel.

    10-9 Salamov

    Round 2

Salamov is standing tall and hunching up his shoulders, leaning forward slightly, jabbing down into Liebau's face. Hook & straight combo from Liebau is blocked and countered with a slew of hard jabs. Salamov keeping his right fist holstered, doing 99% of his business with just the jab, varying its altitude, velocity, and power to occasionally catch Liebau unawares, jolting him with it. Liebau is showing different looks defensively, shimmying as he moves laterally, ducking in place and coming up firing with counter flurries and sometimes even bravely grinding his way in with an uppercut - but nothing is keeping Salamov off him for long. Salamov peppers him with a body combo, punctuated with a short tap with the left, more damaging than it looked as Liebau drops very heavily to his knees and one glove, like a tripod. He isn't getting up.

    KO2!

Kadyrov looks like he would be better utilized as a roadie for Mastadon, rather than a psychotic despot.

I'll try and get up a scorecard for Kudryashov vs. Barragán (through 5, before the stoppage) later tonight.

Probably just an old bout listing on Boxrec that hasn’t been updated but if he makes it, he’s an ATG in my opinion

The last three bouts were actually quite good if you get a chance to find Idigov’s bout or Davtaev’s. Granted Davtaev’s opponent had extremely rudimentary skills, but you could see Apti’s talent on display. Idigov-Wanyonyi was the bout of the night for me though (probably because I wasn’t expecting much from it to begin with though).

I was wondering where you were during the RBR lol sounds like you had a hell of a day. Commiserations comrade

Artur Ziyatdinov vs. Mauricio Nicolás Barragán is still indeed on like Donkey Kong for tomorrow despite El Demoledor being kayoed yesterday, but perhaps worth mentioning is that event organizers KO Boxing Promotions have something of a controversial history in Edmonton...
