Terrence Crawford vs Juan Manuel Marquez at lightweight

Somewhere JMM is sitting there, muttering to himself. 'I'll show you how to re-hydrate.' Anyways, I have Marquez because Crawford is methodical and calculating, not explosive. Experience goes a long way.

He just seemed slower and less sure (than Marquez: I actually like his spirit) when I was watching his fights. Also, a fair amount of searching, which is like telegraphing against Marquez. I forgot for a moment that Marquez has a shorter reach than most fighters, so there's that and the height too.

 

JMM is a better fighter but he's old.

 

Marquez main rival is a fast southpaw and he's fought many orthodox fighters the switch hitting won't be a problem what will be a problem is the physical but I still got Marquez

 

Crawford has a long way to go before you can even say he'd be competitive with a legend like JMM. Wait till Crawford actually beats someone of note.

 

Crawford has too much movement for Marquez. Marquez got outboxed by every decent boxer he faced.

Crawfords spectacular wins against the monsters that are Felix Diaz, Jeff Horn, Gamboa and Indogonogo somehow makes it valid to him to suggest he was much better than an ATG in JMM

 

Pick em fight a hell of a fight. a great case can be made for both. I don't know.

 

That's like saying Gvozdyk vs Andre Ward would be a pick em fight. Crawford aint fought nobody yet to even be in the discussion with JMM!!
