You're so wrong. Pac is clearly bigger than Lomachenko with his frame. Lomachenko being thicker than Pac already in lightweight confirms this. Besides, Lomachenko seems to have a very narrowed shoulders. Which makes it harder to pack additional weight. Lomachenko is a 135er at MAXIMUM as he doesn't have the genetics like Floyd does with his super long arms and super wide shoulders.

Look at Pac at lightweight. Lomachenko is clearly thicker.

That's what I'm saying. The reason is Lomachenko is looking thicker at the same weight class. That's because he's at his maximum weight. Pac can pull the same weight (138) without looking as buffed up. All the while being the same weight. His frame is bigger. So Lomachenko is smaller by a margin.

Loma weighed 138 when he fought Linares at lightweight

Manny weighed 147 when he fought at lightweight

    Pacquiao 147 - David Diaz 148

I can't recall seeing so many pre loss excuses for a fighter. lol. If Loma moves up in weight and doesn't win a fight, he either wasn't the better man that night, or he may get the short end of the stick on the cards, but to say it is because he has narrow shoulders, isn't natural to the weight etc. is bull****. Fighters take fights they think they can win. Lomaballgobblers were making pre fight excuses against Linares. Lomachenko is fine at 135. He may very well be fine at 140 and 147 as well. Skills pay the bills. If little Marquez can move up and be successful above 135, Loma could have some success as well. He's more athletic, has faster hands, and has better defense then Marquez. So cut it with all the pre loss excuses.

No Lomachenko isn't fine at 140. And narrow shoulders are pretty relevant as it means a smaller reach and you won't be able to put on extra weight as easily. I'm not excusing Loma's shortcomings. It's obvious Loma's 135 equals to Floyd's 147.

As I previously stated Dwight Mohammed Qawi was a 5'6, top level light heavy and cruiserweight. He even fought at heavyweight. You are making excuses.

Good for him that he can make Heavyweight but what's that about Lomachenko?
Frame determines things. It determines Mohammed is heavyweight, Pacquaio a small welterweight and Lomachenko a small lightweight.

Also Qawi fought in the 80s, different times, nowadays there's a lot more min maxing as far as weight cutting goes to fight at the lowest possible weight class. So guys are just bigger in the same weight classes.

    Except 5'7 isn't a small lightweight.

Mayweather gave up a lot of weight at 154 against DLH, Maidana and Canelo.

size is definitely more advantageous than weight in the same weight class.

He should have unified 126. Made very little sense to move him up to 135 so soon, especially with Berchelt at 126 calling him out and claiming supremacy.
