I posted this question because someone was defended Liston v Ali 2 saying it wasn`t overrated afterwards as a fight, it just caused such a stir because Liston was considered such a strong fighter, so would AJ being KO`d in the first be a similar kind of shock?
Glass City Cobra said: ↑ He fight itself isnt overrated at all. Nobody hails ali liston 2 as this amazin event. It was the drama and confusion that caught the worlds attention. I do agree that it was hyped up far beyond what it was. To the untrained eye it looked like Ali destroyed the scariest man on the planet with 1 punch. This would be the equivalent of someone koing anthony joshua or golovkin in the first round today, people simply couldnt believe what they saw.
He hurt Jason Bergman badly which is something Donkey couldn't achieve despite Bergman being in camp with him many times This content is protected And Bryant ''Cheerio'' Jennings said that Povetkin has one punch KO power in either fist and will F U up if you stay in the range he likes to fight at. Povetkin should not hold back. The main takeaway from me from the WK Joshua fight was when Joshua is clipped he stiffens up and slows right down. Povetkin's finishing and output are good enough to put Joshua away if he can hurt him and I think he will. I don't think it would be as big a shock as some think.
If a tree falls in the forest and no one’s there to hear it, does it make a sound? Or, to put it differently, if AJ gets knocked out on DaysInn and no one in America sees it ...
