Kownacki overpowers overrated Parker with his constant pressure and size. Parker couldnt handle what is it 70 punches a round by a 260 pound guy. Could he??? Kownacki by decision and if Parker gets to brave Kownacki sparks him.
Parker. He might lose some early rounds but even as timid as he become he's still a more lively and talented boxer than Martin who almost closed the gap to salvage a draw after a horrid start.
Parker isnt close to Martins size or power. Kownacki is to big and to much pressure for Parker. Kownacki and Dillian Whyte would be a nice scrap, better than vs Parker. Kownacki can beat overrated Whyte also for sure.
One guy would be coming in off a long winning streak, the other off a two-fight losing streak. There is a logical answer to who would win if they fought next up. Turn the two-fight losing streak into a two or three-fight win streak & you may have a different outcome. Parker has better hand speed & skills but they won't carry the day unless he's coming in with wins behind him. Even then it will be tough. I had Parker at 10 & Kownacki at 11 in my h/w rankings before the weekend. I'd reverse those rankings as of yesterday. As we saw yesterday & when Parker fought Whyte (and Ruiz & Big Cat), there's not much between a lot of these guys. Location & quality/outcome of lead-in fights counts for plenty.
Parker beats Kownacki. Kownacki missed a lot vs Martin who is a big slob who hasn't any kind of boxing footwork in his repertoire. If you have any kind of boxing skills and amateur background you will easily hit Martin like Kownacki did and Kownacki is a basic boxer with solid skills and footwork but nothing special tbh. Parker is another level imo although Parker hasn't the same style, work rate and probably not the same power although i think Parkers power is underrated. Parker is a very decent counterpuncher and doesn't have to fear the one punch power of Kownacki as Kownacki hasn't big one punch power like Whyte or Joshua. Kownacki is all about his crazy work rate and constant pressure. Getting hit by one or two punches isn't the problem but getting hit by eight or ten punches within 20-30 seconds by Kownacki is another thing. Parker would counter slow Kownacki all night long and Kownacki would miss even more than he did vs. Martin or Kiladze. I do not believe Parker would stop Kownacki but i can see Parker winning a close decision. But depends if they would fight in the US, in NZ or on neutral soil. Parker has no profile in the US, Kownacki has no profile outside the US and both definitely want to fight at home. Fight won't happen anyway. I can see Kownacki fighting Jennings next.
Parker couldnt smash a flea with a sledgehammer. He would hurt his arm with reverbaration from the punch. Easy Kownacki win. Parker is overrated Adam was a Golden Glove Champ he is no joke man the way you guys are making him out to be and these US fighters beat the other guys. It is what it is. Fury will loses to Deontay so will Joshua just like Ortiz did. Whyte will lose to Kownacki Martin and Big Baby and Jennings hah!!!. Forget Parker he had his shot.
I don't rate Kownacki very highly but Parker doesn't match up well stylistically against Kownacki. Parker sucks on the back foot and with Kownacki constantly coming forward he'd have Parker backing up all night unable to let his hands go. Parker is the more talented fighter but he could very well lose to Kownacki if he can't hurt him and stop him coming forward. I think Parker is better than Martin who was very competitive with Kownacki but the match of styles makes me think Kownacki could pull off the upset. I hate to say it but right now people have Parker figured out and Parker is coming off back to back losses, he's going to struggle badly from now on if he doesn't add something to his arsenal because he's too flawed at the moment to be a big favourite over anyone who can push him back.
Just cant see how Parker can stop a 260 pound guy throwing 70 punches a round at him. Kownacki got tagged a few times and Martin hits like a mule (19 kos in a row 18 by 4th round and sooner if you throw out the Joshua fight) so yes he has cheen cheen hard. Parker cant win this fight no way man.
It wouldn't be easy, but Parker should take this. Martin is not a joke, but there are levels to this game and his high KO count is helped a lot by a low level of opposition (and a retirement from injury). Need we compare Charles Martin's performance in this biggest fight of his life versus Parker's performance against a much more polished version of the same dude?
He's on a decent win streak so he's got to be up there. He came within 20 seconds of getting done by Parker but in the end he got the W and that's what counts. Guys who get W's against decent opposition deserve to go up and guys who pick up L's go down. C - Tyson Fury 1. Joshua 2. Wilder 3. Usyk 4. Povetkin 5. Ortiz 6. Miller 7. Whyte 8. Bellew 9. Breazeale 10. Kownacki 11. Parker 12. Ruiz 13. Pulev 14. Big Cat 15. Chisora 16. Jennings 17. Yoka 18. Joyce 19. Hrgovic 20. Dubois 21. Martin 22. Bryan 23. Charr 24. Hunter 25. Fa
Ok. I'm on the Kownacki train now. I got Kownacki by KO. Never thought all that highly of Parker but would be a good way to test the waters at the next level. By the way, does Kownacki have a fight name? He's a definitely a battlewagon, maybe he should go with Polish Navy, lol. The Polish Punisher? What?
You definately know your shxt thats for sure. Nice List Heres my Top 4 the way it should be. Fury was first and hasnt lost Wilder was second and hasnt lost. Thanks Again for the list man. More accurate then the governing bodies. Champ Fury 1 Wilder 2 Joshua 3 Ortiz
