Athletically, Mike Tyson was terribly strong from a young age - whatever the validity of the rumor of him benching 300lbs when 16, it merits a sharp eye brow raise. Typically, all great boxers are great athletes. With them sporting great power, speed, strength and co-ordination their muscle fibers are usually pretty in tune to cardiovascular strains.
