I think AJ will reign a long era after beating Povetkin, Wilder and Fury. I don't see a heavyweight prospect that will threaten AJ's crown.

First of, everybody is looking past Povetkin on September 22nd. Hearn has already booked AJ's next match on April 2019 at Wembley. If he didn't believe AJ will defeat Povetkin, he wouldn't do such a thing. And everybody is talking about AJ-Wilder future match, almost nobody is talking about AJ-Povetkin match. So everybody is looking past Povetkin. Maybe there is a match fixing? Maybe Matchroom has agreed with Russian promoters that Povetkin will honor AJ by losing on 22nd September, so that AJ will be a bigger name at boxing? Likely. Something is going on. 39 year old Russian would like to squeeze as much money as he can from the greatest match of his career. Therefore, I am ruling out Povetkin.

Next, Wilder. There is great hype about AJ-Wilder match. But this is just hype. Wilder is not a talented nor skilled boxer as AJ. Since he is American and has huge size and has a long reign as an undefeated champion, people are trying to match him to AJ, trying to present him as AJ's sole true opponent. But come on. Look at AJ's power, foundation, combinations. He is in another league. Being huge, being American and being undefeated champion and media hype can't make Wilder AJ's true opponent. They are just trying to make more $$$ by hyping up the match. AJ is not afraid of Wilder, not at all. He is just waiting for the right time for the match, so that the revenue will be at its highest level.

Fury. I don't even want to write about this bum. He is a bum. He got lucky with Klitschko in 2015 and got away with it. Klitshcko was worried and hesitant in that match, probably because of Fury's size, he hadn't fought a boxer of Fury's size before. His trainer Jonathan Banks was a terrible one. Klitschko would easily finish off this bum in a rematch because he had gotten his lesson. Too bad Fury ran away and it didn't happen. Come on, look at Fury's last 2 matches. Terrible performances.

Anyway, I think AJ will dominate and reign supreme the division for at least 10 years, because I don't see a serious opponent.

Vlad Sirenko will be his rival.

Beyond Sirenko ,all will have a great disadvantage against Joshua as time goes on to actually make a close fight PER rounds and make a close fight or one that is not hard to see who won.

Sirenko IS the guy to make an excellent fight with many intangibles.....

Dubois / Gorman / Joyce /Fury and Wilder will all be threats but they wont have ALL the make up to be favored over what will be a true dominant champion in Joshua who will take an incredible fighter to take him down at this point.

Sirenko has size /power /ability / style and has Ali Bashir in his corner to make for a great fight with a super HW athletic Joshua..

A lot of ppl are talking about Dubois yet don't realize it is Sirenko doing the damage in that camp and to Dubois himself as guys in that camp have said.

I told you guys awhile now that Sirenko is going to tear up the division, you will see that.

Isn’t the rematch that no one wants to see against Whyte already pencilled in after Povetkin?

The only way that doesn’t happen is if the Wilder Fury fight falls through, and Wilder is without a fight and prepared to travel in desperation.

Even if Wilder Fury gets announced I have the feeling that Fury pulls out at the last minute.

He’s good, but his opposition has been poor thus far. He’s only 6’4” I believe as well, and whilst not short, it’s hardly huge against today’s monsters. I only comment because his performance against Woods kind of took the gloss away from him.

Sirenko took Woods on less then 2 weeks notice.

    It was also a 4/6 rounder ?

Not many are going to last with a fighter like Sirenko.

At the end of the day its about not losing rounds where you can actually determine TRUE talent.

Sirenko is a 240 plus hulk who hits HARD.....

    "He’s only 6’4 "

? come on now when are you guys gonna stop....lol

Miller, Whyte 2, Joyce, Hrgovic, Parker 2, H.Fury, Usyk, Kuzmin, Dubois, Yoka etc..etc.. Joshua has enough big money fights lined up to retirement let alone worrying about the others that will undoubtebly shine and come along.

Come on now, you know what I meant. You were the one that said he was going to be Joshua’s main rival because he has size, power, ability, and style. 6’4” isn’t tall in today’s heavyweight scene, so I’m surprised that seems to offend you. Sure, he’s bulky, but he’s not a beast.

And I’m sorry, but Woods took him the distance. That’s a fact. I was impressed with Sirenko, and have been so far, but his performance against Woods was not great, considering he’s a “hulk”.

I don’t understand why people sometimes get offended when their point of view is questioned. Because that’s all it is, a point of view.

Boxing isn't based on height its based on weight...

At 6'4 or whatever and 245/250 hes anything but small and being a puncher is key not height.

The fact he is skilled also makes hima dangerous guy and at only 21 or so...so im not sure what you are talking about.

You didn't challenge my point I challenged yours bc its false.

Did you even see the Woods fight?

My guess is you didn't bc its very hard to find and it was recorded on someones personal camcorder or cell phone with poor quality ,so how are you actually accessing a 6 round fight someone took on practically a weeks notice ? A fight BTW he was landing monstrous shots which sounded like bombs from the back seats in that arena .

The fact is you guys want superheros not fighters ,in boxing fights go to scorecards and often in 6 rounders and you don't know what Sirenko is being instructed to do by Ali Bashir bc Sirenko is having trouble getting rounds in and Woods is someone you usually get them in....

I have seen the fight, and yes, I’m aware that it seems to have been removed from the internet.

He a good fighter. He is big. He is strong. I’m also aware that size is measured in weight. I also believe that he will go on to be a threat in the division, but he’s practically from a different generation to Joshua, so that doesn’t hold much weight for me. By the time Sirenko rises to prominence I’d expect Joshua to perhaps be hitting his mid 30’s, or possibly looking at retirement.

Again, I was, and still am impressed with Sirenko, but I saw him as a beast, until that Woods fight. He’s still a powerhouse mind, but I’d back a young Joshua or Wilder to have broken Woods. Personally I reckon Yoka, whilst not a puncher, is a far more dangerous fight, once he gets back in the ring.
