I have no problem with him winning, it's celebrating a win on a clash of heads I believe he intentionally caused like he won the title that I don't like.

Eh...When you're staring at an unjustified stoppage loss in a fight that you pretty much have to win to ensure that you have any chance of mainstream notice, and you find out things went your way, you get a pass for celebrating a little. Cano of saved his career, or at least, stopped it from being swept away completely into oblivion. Under those circumstances, being happy is understandable.

People shitting on Cano celebrating are forgetting that the very same guy was robbed in two of his highest profile fights, back to back. If anything Cano is one of the least lucky world champions of recent years.

He's earned the right to celebrate having a little luck for once, his career certainly hasn't been littered with easy breaks or generous judging.

And at the same time, he's just destroyed the undefeated record of a prospect on that lucky break.

That prospect shouldn't of dropped three of the first four rounds against a slow starting war horse like Cano who's likely already well past his best.

That’s a **** argument when you’re expecting to fight 10 rounds lol how many fighters have given up the first few rounds only to come back and win 97-93 or 96-94? Yes this sort of **** happens but you shouldn’t plan for your 10 round fight to go only 5 rounds lol

You can dress it however you like, I still believe it's weak to celebrate a headbutt causing win that I believe he did on purpose because he was fading and starting to get lit up. If that's how he has to win fights now then his career should probably be over to begin with.

Moreover, it's not like Madiev's marketability is really hurt by this loss. Losing a competitive decision in an abbreviated contest that will likely be rematched in the near future isn't too much of a black mark on the career. He probably learns from it, starts a bit quicker and gets the W back and eventually moves forward with his career without too much loss of momentum.

OK, let's assume the fight continues and Cano manages to shade a couple more rounds on the card; Madiev isn't a huge puncher so that was well within the realm of possiblity. Losing three of the first four would still hurt him pretty badly in the end, no?

If Cano had done that to Madiev he would have been awaqrded a TKO for certain.
