What does the money say,if Canelo loses his brand is tarnished and big money goes down, if GGG loses he has to fight his way back and Canelo has monster money opportunities

If it's a decision , Canelo will be given the fight

I'm expecting a similar fight to the first one. If that's the case, the judges will give it to Canelo this time. For GGG to win in Vegas he needs at least a KD en route.I think he may get it.

Its going to be a draw again probably. The backlash against the robbery in the first fight made the boxing establishment more cautious. So I doubt they would rob Golovkin, they would rather give him a draw.

GGG by decision likely, but I wouldn't be suprised if he stops Canelo in the late rounds.

I still can’t fathom how people gave Clenelo the fight.

I had Golovkin winning 117-111 the first time around, this time he'll win again just as clear UD.

I rarely wait for the weigh-in before a pick which was GGG by decision before the first fight and I didn't see anything vs. a possibly enhanced Canelo to change that. But the gut feeling that GGG another year older is now fighting an uphill battle vs. Clenelo, the judges and age. Same gut feeling before Maravilla-Cotto, who stood no chances vs. prime Martinez, but caught him just the right time. Sometimes one's reign end brutally, and Clen certainly has the skills to turn an important page.

Let me be clear: GGG legitimately beat Canelo, a great fighter the first time around, no one can take that away, and any version pre-Brook is just bad bad news for Clen. Plus GGG started a little starstruck, lacked body shots and smart side-steps, he's clearly the one to improve on the performance, Alvarez fought the perfect defensive fight, and found much success.

And never mind the "deflated Alvarez" talk, he WAS coming down in weight, so it's natural he's slimmer now. Which may help his quickness and stamina but might hurt his punch resistance. I think in a way he thinks he should've won and that will motive to be more aggressive, and TODAY he may be highly rewarded for it in a fight that's damn hard to pick due to the age factor. Let's see how they look.

Agreed. People will often say that Canelo won the first three and the last three, so he at least deserved a draw. Upon rewatch, he won the 1st MINUTE of round 10, lost round 11 (looked tired AF) and then went all out in round 12, which I gave him.

The fact is, despite all this talk about Canelo being the better boxer, he was unable to make the proper adjustments to avoid getting tagged with the jab all night long. The most fundamental of boxing punches and he couldn't nullify it.

Stopping to throw a combo before returning to retreat doesn't win you a fight when the other guy is throwing and landing more consistently. Canelo's shots might have been more eye catching, but we can't say they were effective enough to overrule GGG's volume and landed punches. GGG won that fight 8-4.

Unfortunately, I think Canelo steps up his activity level, tightens up his defense and comes away with a points victory. GGG needs to at least knock him down this time out to get a proper decision win. I can't see either guy getting stopped, but if it did happen, my heart tells me GGG goes down from a consistent body assault.
