Elite, my friend, I must take exception.

A three decade, two championship a career spanning the two best eras of heavywieght boxing in the 70's and 90's.

Wins over first rate opponents like:

    Joe Frazier
    Ken Norton
    Michael Moorer
    Ron Ryle
    Jerry Cooney

    other interesting lesser contenders like

    Chuck Wepner
    George Chavulo
    Joe Roman
    Alex Stewart
    Pierre Coetzer
    Addilson Rodriguez
    Axel Schultz
    Lou Savarese
    Bert Cooper

And often excting, sometimes controversial losses to

    Muhammed Ali
    Jimmy Young
    Evander Holyfield
    Tommy Morrison
    Shannon Briggs

If this is not an outstanding, proven ATG career, I am not sure what is.

this would be mental as well as a test of boxing skills and i'm afraid wlad falls well short in that category.put it this way,if he was cautious and not prepared to mix it with ibragimov what would he be like with the big brooding figure of foreman standing in front of him? i think this wouldn't go past 5 rounds.

So he has no chance against Tunney, Schmeling, Ingo, Patterson, Holmes, Walcott or Willard? I think he beats all these guys And more, by the way, I just wanted to illustrate my point.

Honestly, I'm a Klitschko fan, but sometimes his fans go way over the top and all of us get a bad repuation. however, the Klitschko haters are just as bad.

Peter had close fight with Klitschko (although helped himself with rabbit punches). And he is nowhere close to Foreman.

Wlad had longer reach and better jab, so he can win some rounds. Stewart teached him also about clinching, so he may survive a little bit longer. But once Foreman connects, it would be over for him. And he would connect eventually.

Come on - Peter knocked him down, Brewster had him down, even Williamson did it. And those opponents (especially Brewster and Peter) are not quick, technical boxers, quite contrary.

IMO, Prime Larry Holmes would dismantle Wlad, worse than Foreman.
(George will K.O. Wlad early, while Holmes would Box & jab him silly before a "Straight Right cross" ends his night of frustration.)

I defo agree with you on the whole Klitschko fan thing tho...
I also follow Wlad, and think very high of him.

not only does foreman hit hard but also he puts on a lot of pressure

Foreman's chin in his prime was not nearly as good as his 45year old chin, so there is a chance wlad could KO him. Wlad does have the power to TKO/KO him but I would bet foreman gets to wlad first.

It is just the worse style matchup for wlad. Wlad would have a better chance against Ali. He coulsnt take the power and pressure of foreman

Someone should ask Wlad how he'd do against Foreman, and Foreman how he'd do against Wlad.

Wlad would say "Well Foreman was a great fighter, a legendary fighter so I would do my best and we would see" (he never answers comparison questions).

I don't know how Foreman would answer.

Foreman had a much more significant career, although I tend to agree that there is a lot of hype and bias towards earlier-era athletes (that tend to ignore the increasing size and better training of modern athletes).

Foreman would say. "I would KTFO Wlad inside 2 rounds. I'm a lean, mean, fat-reducing grilling machine."

I don't think it's fair to compare Klitschko from the Peter fight with prime Foreman. Klitschko's confidence was at the lowest point in that fight. So, when you talk prime for prime, you really shouldn't talk about the Peter fight. The second Brewster fight or the Brock fight would be acceptable, IMO.
As for this poll, are we talking about the Foreman who beat Frazier? That version of Foreman would either KO Klitschko early or get KOed in later rounds. If Foreman allows Klitschko to get into his rhythm, he'll be a toast.
