This was a closer fight than the first one and they gave Canelo the draw, so I'm not surprised he "won". Credit to him- he fought his ass off. But GGG is 2-0 vs him on my cards and I think it's a travesty that he's officially 0-1-1 against him.

It's actually smarter for Canelo to go for the trilogy because BJS outboxes him worse at this stage of the game IMO.

I agree, because I think defense more than aggression is a more effective way of controlling a fight, when punches landed is close. Golovkin stuck out a lot of jabs early, but they almost never landed clean, Canelo slipped and blocked most of them. And while he was coming forward and backing up a confused GGG! So when the clean punches were close you should have to sway to Canelo, through the first 8 anyway. 9-11 when they were both tired Canelo's defence leaked and GGG's power took the rounds.

I actually thought the best work of the night was GGG's footwork in ...I want to say the 10th. I was really impressed by Canelo's footwork last time too.

To make matters worse, I'm agreeing with @CST80 .......

@Sephiroth Rising 7 will be rimming me soon, and @CutThroatFade will apologise to Tony Bellew and offer him his ass.....

    I'm fuming with this s***.

Make the 3rd at Wembley, and British Stoppage Canelo's ass the second GGG lands a jab.

As I said, it was always going to Canelo if it went to the cards. I was right.

And as I said, all those who screamed robbery the first fight would scream robbery again regardless of what actually happened inside the ring.

So what happens when I watch the fight and my opinion concurs with most of the posters? From the sounds of things it probably will.
