I feel like no matter how close the fight is with Canelo whenever it goes the distance he always has the benefit of the doubt. Other than Mayweather who clearly beat him decisively with one horrible judge, is there really any fighter who can beat Canelo by judges scorecards or are they gonna have to knock him out to get a clear win from him? It seems that as long as Canelo makes a competitive fight he’ll get the decision no problem. I think Saunders might be the only guy that could somehow beat him by decision but i won’t count on it.
Billy jo saunders knows he cant win in Las Vegas. He should fight him in England or turn down the fight. Saunders should refuse the fight at T-mobile.
Saunders isn't real brave to begin with. no way he fights anywhere in the States or Mexico. he will decline the fight if it isn't in the uk.
Nope. He starts his fights up by 2 rounds before the first punch is thrown. Outside Vegas ... maybe. So long as neutral judges are found and their back pockets checked before they sit down.
The GGG fights were bad enough ... let Lara and trout slip a side but the fact he got a draw on one score card against mayweather shows enough boxing is corrupt and stinks ... I’m not mayweathers greatest fan but he schooled canelo easily and the fact he didn’t get the UD says it all
I think that is what pisses me off about some fighters in general, it isn't just Canelo. On face value, you can make a solid case for Canelo winning a tight fight last night, likewise you can (perhaps even more easily) make a strong case for Golovkin winning, however........ Canelo was never going to be on the losing side of a tight fight - and every boxing fan knew this before a punch was thrown. You have to beat Canelo, demonstrating clear dominance in at least 8 rounds, because anything close it seems he gets. That is why he came out of the first fight with a draw, as simply any close round you have to give it to him.
The same Saunders who went to fight Lemieux in Canada and Andrade in the states? And he won't take a career high payday if it isn't in the UK? I've no doubt he will take the fight against Alvarez in America if the money is right.
Honestly, I do not think one can. I watched the fight twice and GGG won the fight. You may argue about the margin but not the winner, in my view.
